@@SkorpiosBattlebot what do you do with the power switch that is wired to the reciever? Also what do you do with the white wire that you didn't add into the Anderson plug?
Just starting to get into antweights hopefully one day I'll be able to make a heavyweight! Thank you for your humour and knowledge! You're both truelly amazing 😂❤️
Muchas gracias por compartir. Me he vuelto fanático de las batallas de robots y mi hija de 10 años dice que quiere estudiar robótica, poco a poco quisiera poder comprar algunas cosas para que ella se motive. Gracias por sus enseñanzas
Again great video, very informative. This in theory could work for any size bot as long as you have the right hardware. Question, do you guys always use a xd9? Why not move to the qx7s also, I think you may want to inform a lot of people the difference between pwm and sbus cause a lot of people out there may pick up the wrong rx. Love you guys and keep the videos coming. #weneedseason6
Do Wyachi switches have fuses built in? In the UK we have to have the battery fused to help protect everything. I'm not sure if this is a rule in the US?
@@ankjaers Yeah that's the norm over here. That or since we use a removable link rather than a switch, you can have a fuse on the link. That's more for lower weight classes though to my knowledge.
Hello, I am making the block diagram for my 12-lb combat sumo style robot following your video! I'm confused about the wiring between my ESC, receiver, and Raspberry pi microcomputer. Does my raspberry pi replace the "receiver" block or do they work in conjunction? Also if you have a number or email I can reach you at with questions, please let me know as a I have fast upcoming dates. Thanks!
@@SkorpiosBattlebot Thanks for answering. I recently learned that scorpions glow under ultraviolet light. Have you ever considered painting Skorpios with UV reactive paint? If you got a couple of bots painted with UV reactive paint it might be worth adding UV lights to the Battle Box. Sounds like good TV to me!
This video's a must watch for beginners that are trying to gain some base knowledge.
I like the ending, and seeing duck
then you will love next weeks Episode

That is a great point I think will do an episode just on programming binding radios! Also talk about importance of failsafe

You could just have a fuse in front of the switch?

Is there any benefit to using equal lengths of wire between the brain and the two hearts?
No
