Like the video. Was this filmed recently? I've been wondering about going up river from Havasu. Do they dredge the bottom? I have a V drive like you, any issues with hitting the bottom?
I make that run 5-10x per year. Never an issue. Just stay in the center of the channel. I have a sonar on my rig, shallowest spot is 15 feet if you stay in the center. If you go up river from Topock towards Avi, then there are some very shallow spots. From Parker all the way to Topock, you're golden.

no sir never any problem jus as you enter the opening of the inlet to the gorge you have to hug the CA side! DO IT!
