I am one of those unfortuante people who cannot hear the lyrics because I connect to the music. Especially if there is a 'caressing' violin present. I listened -- TRIED to listen - to this song, but at the end the words heard were "not letting this hand go". So now I'll play the video again and this time I will mute the sound (aaaaagghhh! and not hear his soothing voice!!) and just read the captions. I've had to do this most of my life, just to be able to sing with the Church Choir, or the school Chorus. When traveling I have to be careful of my music selection. I can miss a flight or bus, or get off at the wrong stop because I connect that place to the music and feel 'invited'. LOL Anyway, Lee Seung Gi's voice is soothing to my soul. I love anything he sings, and yes I rank his voice with the instruments. He could sing acapella and his voice would be all that I heard. Anyway, reading the lyrics to get the meaning of the song, and not the one my brain has interpreted from the music.
