    Thank you very much indeed for this video. It's so interesting and helped me to understand this process. I was surprised by info about risks of parking your track for several days.

      Thanks! Fuel venting is an issue only with LNG, not with CNG. And LNG tanks are getting better....manufacturers are making engineering improvements to LNG tanks to improve their insulation and increase the "hold time" before venting. If your operation requires trucks to be idle for several days in a row and CNG fueling is available nearby, you may want to investigate using CNG.

      Yes, if you're in an application where the truck is likely to be parked for several days at a time, you may want to consider CNG rather than LNG.

    Is it relible for pier section? In India there are more number of pier section what is lng engine efficiency in that road type and what about lng engine maintenance?

    Wouldn't it be better to burn the vented gas?

    It is possible to make an LNG gas cylinder for cooking

    • @Agilityfuelsystems
      @Agilityfuelsystems  5 років тому +1

      Theoretically it's possible but we haven't seen it in our experience. LPG (Propane) is a very widely used as a cooking fuel around the world. Our sister company Ragasco makes really cool composite propane tanks. Check them out at www.hexagonragasco.com

    It is possible to make an LNG gas car engine.

      Good question, Patel. The engine itself is the same whether you're running CNG or LNG; it's just the fuel storage system that's different. Gas from the storage system is either depressurized (CNG) or evaporated and regulated (LNG), but the engine just sees gaseous-phase natural gas flowing in at a specified pressure. For passenger cars, you can get enough fuel on board in a CNG tank, and CNG is simpler to deal with than LNG in that application, so pretty much all passenger vehicles that we're aware of are CNG rather than LNG.

      It is possible to make an LNG car engine if you want to make small tires of lng.
