For anyone whi is interested, here on UA-cam, there is a man named Roger Turpin who does these incredible mini doc films about interesting places in Southern Indiana. He has at least one video about that old naval facility. Even thoigh his main focus is about interesting Indians places, he has done some videos about places that have had Bigfoot sightings over the years. Most of Southern Indiana us very woodsy and not heavily populated to this day. There are many such sightings and encounters all over Southern Indiana. That was a great story. Everyone have a great St. Patrick's Day weekend and also please put those in your prayers those who suffered from the many deadly tornadoes that raged across much of the country from Texas on up into Ohio. We had a family lake cottage on Indian Lake, Ohio for many years. We sold it a few years ago and my neighborhood was hit hard by the storm. Several of my former neighbors had their houses destroyed biut everyone made it out without injury or worse but the last that I heard this morning, at least three people were killed in the area. Pray for their families.

Those are very nice (art work) drawings you showed us. I've heard sounds that may have been made by Sasquatch, when I was young. I have even been hit with pebbles (while picking wild grapes, in a wooded area, with other children). I feel very lucky that I have not seen one. When I first moved into this new subdivision (over 14 years ago), I'm sure I had one (or more) to visit my new trailer after dark. I gave up on growing a garden after the last one was trashed over night. The bite marks left on my butternut squash were huge. My bird feeders didn't last long. I had to give up on feeding the little song birds. Something big walked across my roof after dark one night. My cats had been at the back door (crying and scratching) trying too get back in the house. After I let them in, the walking started. I had to have my roof repaired four different times. A little over a year ago I had a slick metal roof put on. Seven new houses have been built behind me. Only one of those houses is empty right now. I have not seen any signs (or hear any sounds) that might be a woods booger visiting after dark since my new roof was put on, and new neighbors moved in. However, some of my new neighbors are planning to grow gardens this year. All of my new neighbors have dogs. Something killed my dog one night. Her body was left in the ditch about a half block from my house. There was not a mark left on her body. We don't know how she died. But, we do know that she was taken by someone.
My cats generally are ready to “ride out” every day at dusk. Also, it’s Springtime!!

I know Hwy 126 from Florence to Eugene very well. But they must have been headed east not west. West of Florence is the Pacific Ocean. There is plenty of forest out there for the Hairy Man to hide in.

Oh no, I did not. I was definitely scared, but I didn't run, and I did look right at him in the face. In the light of day with nothing between he and as we both were on a back road not far from right where I am at this moment. My snackage is just a cup of coffee tonight.

I wish I had known to ask questions when I was a child, when my grandmother & uncle would mention "boogers". They lived deep in the mountains of Virginia, bordering Wva. I was raised where children didn't involve themselves while adults were talking and I thought they were talking about nose boogers so I vacated the room.. lol
