I truly needed this. Ive been battling 3 chronic illnesses, taking care of 1 parent and 1 grandparent that are energy takers and emotionally abusive, attending grad school full time, and working a part time job. Self care is one of my biggest struggles, but this is motivating me to change that.

How!? Wow, know this, God is with you. It gets greater later, continue INVEST in yourself, if nobody's told you sis , I'll say it " you're doing good, keep going, I'm proud of you, you are dealing with heavy s#$% gracefully, you CAN do this!!" God 1st, do Self- care, and self- love, guard your heart AND PROTECT YOUR ENERGY!

Watching this at 4am. Just got up to case for my 84 y/o Mom who has become a total care patient in the last 2 weeks. Have to get up for work in 45 minutes. I work FT as a nurse. I have a 23 yr old daughter who helps with Mom while takin online classes during the day. It is difficult to get home health care that is dependable now. This life change combined with COVID has me feeling trapped with little time for myself. Thanks for these practical tips and thanks for being my morning pick me up.
Because of you, I have started a daily facial regimen and my skin is improving. It's just a small thing I do for me. So glad I found ur videos a few months ago. Peace & Blessings to you.

Dr. Nina droppin' gems as usual! lol There's a few tips from this video that I specifically like. 1. Developing an everyday routine, that I ACTUALLY LIKE. Those are key words because I would say I'm all over the place and don't have a routine. But at the same time I could say I routinely go to bed late, eat junk, and procrastinate 🤦🏽‍♀️ 2. Reading self help books because I wanna read more regularly like I used to, so why not have it be something that'll uplift me. I keep hearing about Think & Grow Rich, so I'll start with that. Also have you heard of 'What to say when you talk to yourself'? I'm gonna check that out too. 3. Finally, wearing the right size clothes. I am guilty of having a closet full of clothes, but wearing the same pieces every week bcuz that's what fits best. 😪 So much work I need to do on myself, but I know I need to still love myself while I do that. Your videos are 1 thing that helps me! ☺️💜🙏🏾

What I like the most about your channel is you keep it real! As an introvert who is working on getting out of her bubble, I find your ideas and life points make getting out there easier but being able go back in to the bubble and regroup as needed.
