So very true. Many problems have risen due to lack of prophetic words being judged. I’m not saying that ithe individual is a false prophet but that we’re all human & can make mistakes
So clear and succinct. Understanding this doesn't have to be difficult. Practicing it seems to be very challenging. This is what God wants to reconcile in the church.

I was an atheist for most of my life - 4 months ago the Lord came to me through the spirit and started speaking to me - there has been no escape - he keeps taking me to the book of Malachi - I also have received words from him for the people around me - I know I am called of the Lord and I feel like it is in prophecy - I want to know more about my calling and am not sure where to even start
If it is in line with the Word of God, it is irrelevant whether 2 agree or 10,000 disagree. Confirmation comes first and foremost with the Word of God and the character of God.

Would like to know about judging the prophecy and the interpretation of a message in tongues. I've been a Christian for over 50 years. And over 30 within a Pentecostal church. Have seen anyone speak up about a message in tongues or question it or a prophetic word. My pastor friend said he had told a woman to sit down when she spoke a word. What happens to a prophetic when their word doesn't happen. I know that most of the wel known ones are usually vague.
It's seems in list of the gift of Holy Spirit series, but i could be wrong, since it been to long i watch that series Or maybe list of ministry of apostle etc

Really confusing to say the least. Jesus did no fivefold ministry before he was baptized with the Holy Spirit.
There is no "gift of prophesy" since nobody has ever said anything more profound, than found already in the bible!
