It's true. So there's this girl I and my husband welcome in to live with us, she started exhibit this kind of attitude, lies upon lies, I prayed knowing there are certain things my hubby can't say nor do, so where's the misunderstanding coming from ?after prayers I had a revelation, I had to call my husband we talked about everything, when whatever her plans wasn't forth coming, she felt so uncomfortable despite us being extra nice, she insisted on living, we had to call her mom to come pick her. Truth is no matter how close you are, you can't cook or do certain things I can do for my husband for him. Let me go back to the movie.
Many children have the same sentiments about their father because of what their mothers told them. Most mothers lie about the fathers to the kids to try and appear all good and innocent while painting the dads black. Only for the truth to come out and you realize your father tried to reach out but ur mother just wanted to ‘punish’ him by saying bad things against him. This would have been my story, but my mother was honest to tell me the truth. They were both at fault, young and my dad had to make a tough decision to leave us. But he made sure he kept in touch. Now that I've grown and have a family of my own, my father has been a major pillar in my life. My children wouldn't have asked for a better granddad. Cos he's just perfect for them!❤

Even if your father abandoned you, why do you have to ruined his happy home that his wife welcomed you and treated you like her own. The child is just like her mother, deceitful and ungrateful. In all, communication is key in any marriage or relationship
One thing I don’t understand in these movies and maybe it is how it is in Nigeria… but how can someone say something about another who you are supposed to know and you immediately believe what the person says? How could the husband believe what she said about his wife? He should know her better than that and then also not talk to her about it? Communication is key in any relationship and it’s important. She is new to the house and she environment and discernment should have been to pay attention to what is new in their atmosphere. They were a happy loving couple before she moved in… that should have been strange to both of them. Then her as a wife not to go and effectively communicate with her husband. Please, in any relationship, do not just go by what another says and talk to your spouse or significant other to get clarification immediately. Don’t let this fester and start unnecessary issues in your relationship. Lesson #1 of this movie.

I couldn’t watch that young lady continue with being devious through out the movie so I fast forwarded to the end to see the sweet & romantic apology’s being made it touched my heart. 2 of my favorites rekindling their love. Thank you.
This lady Sotonye was really dangerous just pretending to be nice 😭😭. I have come to know why most step mothers don't welcome children of there husbands😞 Miss Candy was a loving mother though Sotonye tried to break her marriage. If I was Ruth I will forgive her but I will not allow her stay in my house again. This kind of step daughter change the moment someone tells lies about you without finding out the truth.
Honestly am upset with the wife, I understand that she sees an innocence in the little girl but why would she accept her so easily to the point of talking to her about her husband’s issues, he didn’t want her in the first place but she forced him to accept her, send the girl to live with her mother and support her financially, she doesn’t have to live with them. And if she has to live them treat her like the stranger she is until you know her mission.
Very often good people get in bad situation. A woman who doesnt even know the mother of the girl has to suffer because of the mother's lies. Why? That why I didnt want a man with children cause their mothers love wahala promax. So sad. She was the first person that appreciated ghe young girl.
If not in movie, where else would this had happened? Once a peaceful home becomes disastrous after the arrival of the teenager. Both Mr and Mrs Bricks acted out of ignorance though it reveals the truth "the mother's lies" They should have figured out where the leakage was coming from even before the arrival of the mom. The thing is, this circumstance happens in real life. Some individuals act this way, in a manipulative behavior, and create problems in others' lives. This is more like my life’s story. My mom doesn’t want me to know my father’s family even though the man is late now, each time I mention investigating about my father’s family she becomes so furious and manipulative by saying “if you do it, I will k$ll myself”. I know something’s off, I’m 27 years old now and currently lives abroad, yet I don’t know anything real about my real father because I love my mum so much and I don’t want to cause any pains to her. But deep inside me as an adult now, I know she’s hiding from something, she’s ashamed of something and she doesn’t want me to find out. But this movie has given me more courage to dig out the truth, I will get to the root of it as soon as I visit Nigeria. Thank you Eddie, Ruth, the daughter and the entire crew ❤❤

I dont know but bringing in kids who are mostly your husbands is at times challenging especially if their mother is alive. Though some maybe good but the challenges in it is hectic.

Honestly am upset with the wife, I understand that she sees an innocence in the little girl but why would she accept her so easily to the point of talking to her about her husband’s issues, he didn’t want her in the first place but she forced him to accept her, send the girl to live with her mother and support her financially, she doesn’t have to live with them. And if she has to live them treat her like the stranger she is until you know her mission.
Very often good people get in bad situation. A woman who doesnt even know the mother of the girl has to suffer because of the mother's lies. Why? That why I didnt want a man with children cause their mothers love wahala promax. So sad. She was the first person that appreciated ghe young girl.

This is more like my life’s story. My mom doesn’t want me to know my father’s family even though the man is late now, each time I mention investigating about my father’s family she becomes so furious and manipulative by saying “if you do it, I will k$ll myself”. I know something’s off, I’m 27 years old now and currently lives abroad, yet I don’t know anything real about my real father because I love my mum so much and I don’t want to cause any pains to her. But deep inside me as an adult now, I know she’s hiding from something, she’s ashamed of something and she doesn’t want me to find out. But this movie has given me more courage to dig out the truth, I will get to the root of it as soon as I visit Nigeria. Thank you Eddie, Ruth, the daughter and the entire crew ❤❤
