hearing Gary talking about what he went through and how much he was ashamed of being himself makes me both sad and happy of what he's achieved .he's a great guy and i wish him all the best cause he very much deserves it.
Gary makes me smile. I could listen to him talk about his pedals all day. When I read his book it was the music nerd in him that I fell in love with. And that little grin at 1.44 is to die for. lol It's interesting, in light of the recent Zane Lowe interview, how Gary was so emotionally detatched during the early years. How strange that he wasn't interested in discussing feelings or drawing on his own personal feelings for lyrics. Perhaps that was part of Rob's frustration with him.
I know they're close now, but i have to say Rob was a disgrace with the way he behaved and TBH Gaz is a better person than me cause i could never have forgiven him for that..How he blamed Gary on everything..The constant insults and just all round nasty behavior..And Gaz never said one bad word about him in all those years yet Rob kicked Gaz when he was down but when Rob was down Gaz offered his hand...That's why Gaz will always be the better man in my eyes...Incredibly talented kind Man.
It’s funny how much people forget. Gary did say bad things about Rob, in fact. He was rather passive-aggressive about it and tended to preface his comments with disclaimers, but he sniped back about Rob’s musical ability (‘he never showed any musical flair’) and addictions (‘I’d be ashamed’) a lot. There’s a reason why there was so little public sympathy for Gary when he was dropped by his record label. Of course once that happened Rob should have dropped it and stopped the jokes and comments, but he was genuinely hurt and angry still for a long time. As well, I don’t think anyone realised just how damaged Gaz was by it all - the spin (even in ‘Take That For the Record’) was that he was happily living off his royalties in Cheshire with his gorgeous wife and kids and producing music for others, while Rob may have been famous but was troubled by addiction and depression.
Sorry if i come across really stupid but WTF are pedals?...Are they for guitars or something?...Gaz seems pretty in love with them so they must be important LOL
Is Robbie still with Take That because, I think about a month ago, it was all over the news that Robbie had left to go solo again and I never heard if it had gotten cleared up. I know Gary's working with Robbie on his new album but can someone please tell me what's happening with Take That because I haven't heard anything about them in ages...
who helped his wife? she is very good for taking him back. after many affairs. they all helped Mark. I think being back as a 5 is what made him struggle all TT that early years stuff came back. Mark did really mess up but I haven't heard him slip since.

What a group therapy session this whole album was!
Love the boys at 8:50....
Very well said 100%. Gary is the real gentleman , the sort of breed cannot be easily found nowadays, very down- to- earth person.

Awww... bless Gary talking about his pedals... :)
gary's voice at 6.50 is unreal!!
Ah man that orchestral version of pretty things.....so beautiful
aw gary getting excited by pedals like a kid on christmas!
Yep, you need to go through the bad shit in order to get to where you are suppose to be. Without it, there is no movement..absolutely.
Robbie never stops giving us lot of beautiful records and emotions. He's the King and we wanna see Robbie Williams number 1 in the Charts
5:58 when gary and robbie are togerther on the running thing watching football, how cute xx :)
Kevin Thorne i believe the device you're talking about is called a treadmill.

02:10 to 03:10 is so wonderful. I could just watch that minute for ever.
8:11 Howard and his wife
She wasn’t his wife at the time.
i've heard that the album is just a four piece. at least that's what i read on Wikipedia.......;
@edel1507 Actually it's "Don't say goodbye" from Progressed.
@sweetkiwi5 It could be on the re-release that's coming out in June.
8:11 what did they play?
seems like Mark always tries to help everyone. Who helped Mark...?
he seems such a nice and lovely person, didn't know he went through those things
who helped his wife? she is very good for taking him back. after many affairs. they all helped Mark. I think being back as a 5 is what made him struggle all TT that early years stuff came back. Mark did really mess up but I haven't heard him slip since.
