This situation helped me appreciate the beauty of aging without lots of Botox. There’s a lesson learnt here.
It’s not Botox that’s making her look the way it is, it’s fillers.
She was aging so gracefully into her 50s. And then it seems she didn't want to age with the sagging eye lids and droopy jowls of age. She coulda been a gracefully beautiful woman in her 60s and 70s. It must be difficult being reminded daily via media how you looked before. To each their own.

Good comment. I think she would have been okay if she did minor surgeries. Maybe an upper eyelid blephroplasty, botox and minor fat transplants/fillers... But it's a shame she went too far. I have a feeling plastic surgeons probably encourage celebs to keep getting unnecessary work done too and once they get into the habit of starting, they can't stop. Also, people will always be judgemental no matter what path she chose to go on. Celebs who are constantly in the media spotlight can't win. Either way, surgery or not, their looks are gonna be judged.
The British star Jane Birkin did aging right -- she embraced her age, let go of the past and is not clinging desperately to a sexy image in her late 60s. Madonna needs help so that she can be happy and at peace.

I think what really caught up with her was the physical injuries from Sean Penn. Then hitting the brick wall -hard!- after raising Lourdes and going through a divorce.

She had her first plastic surgery in 1997, and the secong one in 1999, but her face remained pretty much normal up until 2005. Then from 2006 her face really started to change drastically. And from 2020 well... she lost it.
And you know madonna personally that you can say that with certainty? Madonna is one of those people who has had access to adrenochrome, and there are methods other than just plastic. surgery.
Ask surgeons. It’s all here on UA-cam as several surgeons commented. I have no problem with plastic surgery but don’t sell an expensive skin care and rollers as that kept you youthful. Check out MDNA. Stuff is overpriced. I think she used way too much filler. Hopefully can dissolve.

You can most notice the scar from the original mole area in her Burning Up video close up when her entire face is in the lens in the beginning as it turns to color.
Wonder why did she get rid of the original mole, it didn't look bad or anything.

From outside the smile-wrinkle all the way to less than a centimeter from the right nostril.
I never realized how much skin is added. Based on this mole movement, the additional skin must come from the back of the head somewhere? In my head canon it would just be the closest cells replicating to form new skin, but clearly, based on these images, the entirety of the skin must be pushed inwards towards the face, like two tectonic plates.

I never understood the thin eyebrow or bleached eyebrow look she is going for. First in the early 90's and now recently again. I think the "classic" Madonna look is with strong eyebrows and heavy makeup for the eyes, like in the 1985 and 1988 pictures.
