Per request I made this video to show how my Eden Climbing Roses are progressing after planting them 3 months ago. I hope you enjoy and are having a beautiful day in your garden too! ❤️👍🥰Liz
I always know when comments are from here without even looking at your name, I can tell by your beautiful and very kind words.Thank you so much Panagiotaskoylida! I hope you have a beautiful and very blessed day! 👍❤️🥰Liz
I love how you explained how to weave the roses in and out even though it takes longer you will have a better show in the end. And also show it all the plants that are flanking it on each side.
Thank you for the feedback, grandma Sandy. I’m glad you like the information in the video. I to learn by watching UA-cam videos then I pass on the tips to the viewers. I always appreciate your encouragement and hope you have a beautiful day.🥰❤️❤️Liz
Oh, I'm so envious - I'd love to have a pink rose climber unfortunately our climate is pretty much a rose killer. I agree on the Rosetone and not using Miracle. I was thrilled when last year I found the one and only "native" rose in Florida. It is a Tearose from 1860, thankfully pink and has a good scent if you step up and smell the roses. If it was a person, it would be a dainty, elegant lady. So far it looks lovely and surprisingly was never bothered by the summer heat. When I lived in Germany I had a garden full of roses and Lavender and all my favorite cottage garden blooms - it was so easy. Florida gardening is always a challenge, no matter your skill and determination. It takes time and patience and perseverance but in a way I appreciate and treasure my garden more. Happy gardening, Liz - can't wait to see your pretty pink roses in full bloom.
Good morning Rosa I’m sorry you are not able to grow roses in your area. But I’m sure there are things you can grow successfully that I cannot. And it sounds to me like you have an amazing garden. Exhibiting spectacular wonder.! I appreciate you taking the time to visit me and hope you have a beautiful and blessed day.🥰❤️👍Liz
Your Eden roses are progressing beautifully! Looking forward to your next update on them. Your orange flowers in the front of your fence are so eye catching! Everything looks wonderful 🌼
Thank you so much ginger. I am very happy with the rose as well and can’t wait to do another update in three months when it is actually blooming. Yes, those orange ice plants in my front garden are definitely a showstopper. They bloom for about a month and always have the neighbors stopping by. ❤️🥰👍Liz
Everything is so very pretty. You are giving me so much hope and inspiration and information as well. It’s going to take some time but I’m going get my yard back. I know I will.❤
Hello Dorothy, and thank you for taking the time to watch my video. Yes, you will get your garden back if you just have patience and take it one day and one step at a time. Sometimes when we look at the bigger picture and think of everything that we need to do it can be overwhelming and discouraging. But if we just do one simple thing each day, it will get done eventually, enjoy the process I will be rooting for you❤️🥰👍 Liz
Those roses will look so nice and beautifying your space. What a bargain on those roses! As always, I enjoyed your video! Have a beautiful garden day friend.🌱
Well, thanks so much for sharing how your climbing roses are they’re going to be beautiful on that trellis. Oh, and I love the little bench also in there just to sit and smell the roses. This was so put together so well I loved it. Thanks so much for sharing all tips about planting..
Thank you grandma Sandy I also love that little bench. I Find My sitting there in the mornings with my tea and when I set up my granddaughters little swimming pool in the summertime, she leaves her towel on the bench to dry off. So sweet thank you for taking the time to visit me.❤️❤️❤️Liz
Good Morning Liz, flowers looking wonderful and great job and thanks for the very informative video on how to take care of them and for letting me see the rest of your beautiful place ❤❤❤
Good morning Mike, and thank you for your nice comment. I made that video as a request for a viewer who was wanting me to update them on the progress. I’m glad you enjoyed the video too. You are always so nice and encouraging. I hope you have an amazing day and thanks again for stopping by.. 🌼🌼🌼Liz

Good morning Andrea, and thank you for stopping by. I was hoping my Eden Rose would bloom in time for this video but it’s taking its sweet time. But I am so thrilled with it so far and thank you for the compliment about my front yard garden. Those orange ice plants are always a showstopper. I hope you enjoy your day.🧡🧡🧡Liz
Thank you for sharing your rose! I love my climbing roses and like to combine them with clematis....it's addicting! My Peggy Martins are about to go nuts! New subscriber here! Cheers :)
Well hello there shadedhomeRealty and thank you so much for taking the time to visit me! I bet the Clamatis combined with your rose looks amazing. I never thought to do that. As you know, clematis loves to climb on other plants so a rose would be a perfect choice. Thank you for the idea. And thank you for your support as well. I hope you have a beautiful day in your garden too! ❤️🥰👍Liz
Wow! I planted mine last July 2023 and she hasn’t budded. I was told 1 year sleep, 2nd year creep and 3rd year leap. She has a lot of new growth and leaves but no buds yet. I’m in early spring zone 7a and just hit 60-70 degree weather but it changes drastically sometime.
Hello Cassandra, and thank you for taking the time to visit me. Yes I have heard that term about sleep creep and leap did not know it applied to roses as well. I guess everything is different in different garden zones. I’m sure your rose will be well worth the wait in the end. It’s absolutely beautiful. I hope you have a beautiful day and thank you for your comment. 👍🥰❤️Liz .
Hi, Liz. Lovely tour! I'm blessed to have my grandmother's single petal white rose, mermaid. I have it trained to go up and across an arbor. It's very aggressive and I have to keep an eye on it because it would love to climb one neighbor's garage roof and another's fence. I love being the custodian of this beautiful legacy. 🏵🏵🏵
Good morning Majellamaas your grandmothers Rosa sounds absolutely spectacular. Perhaps yes it might be a little work keeping it under control but I’m sure the rewards are well worth it. Thank you for sharing that beautiful vision with me. I’ve never heard of that rose. I will definitely look into that one. So special that it belong to your grandmother.❤️🥰👍Liz
you always have such a lovely attitude, and I love your cat :), and in other video you sweet dog ..(animal lover) I have read you can use a 10% mixture of milk with 90% water to offset mildew, and a drop of dish liquid with baking soda to treat aphids...
Good morning and thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate your kind words about my animals. I believe they are all gifts given to us here on earth and its our responsibility to take care of them.. 👍❤️🥰 you being an animal lover know exactly what I’m talking about. That is such great information about controlling mildew. I will definitely have to try that so I appreciate you letting me know. I’m always learning something new every day. Thanks again for stopping by. I hope you have a beautiful beautiful day and your garden too.🌸🌹🌸🌹🌸Liz
Hi Liz I am your new subscriber and thank you for update your beautiful Eden roses. I want to ask where did you get your trellis I had a lot of climbing roses and want to save some money to buy a trellis sending love from California ❤and I will follow your Eden in the future.
Good morning Sheena and thank you for taking the time to visit me. I sincerely appreciate your support. I got my garden arch trellises at Morris nursery in Riverbank California. They are not cheap though. It seems like this year. The prices went up as well. I noticed you could buy the same arches at most garden nurseries, so I would imagine the person who is making them is selling them to all nurseries out in the central valley, and northern California as well. What part of California are you from? How fun that we are in the same garden seven. Thank you again for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.👍🥰❤️Liz
Thank you Liz I will check it out and I lived in Camarillo city near Thousand Oaks, I wish your Eden roses will blooming more and keep up date for us to watch 🤗
Good morning Sheena my eden rose just bloomed this morning! The flower is small but Im sure with time it will grow and get bigger. Wish we lived closer to each other we could attend garden shows together! 🥰❤️👍Liz
Hello Faye the orange daisy is actually an ice plant. And the orange tree is a kumquat. I bought that tree for $10 at a yard sale. Thanks for stopping by.❤️🥰👍Liz
Good morning thank you for taking the time to comment. That orange plant in front of my house is an ice plant. They spread a little bit and love full sun and heat. They also come in about four different colors. Orange, pink, yellow, and purple. Thank you again for stopping by. I hope you have a beautiful day.❤️🥰👍Liz
Hello there! Actually, my Eden, climbing roses get full sun all day. I know it may not look like it when I film that video but they do get lots of sun. I hope you’re having an amazing day. Thank you for taking the time to comment. 🌸🌸🌸Liz
Why is your Eden climbing rose showing yellow flower buds? I had the same problem, instead of the white and pink peony like blossoms, they are yellowish and sometimes with orange speckles. Is ia fact that the Eden roses come out as yellow in their 1st year, only in the later years they become the normal Eden?
I have no idea what’s going on with my Eden roses. I have two of them and both of them are blooming different colors. Maybe it’s because mine and yours are grafted. You can get an Eden rose from the heirloom website and they are “own” root…. I think sometimes the colors come out weird if they are grafted.
