Still one of my favourite iris fragrances. Decant is nearly done. Admittedly, I don't wear iris all that often anymore. I'd rather just kick my nose in the face with leather and greens. PaPOW! 🥾 "Take that Maynard G. Kreb!" 🤣 You're right that it tends to lose steam though. I get a better experience when I spray myself with my clothes on. 🤔 What an odd sentence. Stepping stones in perfumery. Stepping stones.

Love to watch this kind of intensive exploring video. No matter what kind of conclusion is reached by the end, I enjoyed it especially when I applied L' Attesa on and watched. Can't agree more with you.

I never bought a bottle.
I loved the first couple hours of L'Attesa too...but I dont see myself buying a bottle....i would just wear Hiris TBH...

How it's Real Patchouly comparing to Psychedelique? It's easy to wear, it's worth blind buying it?

They have changed Real Patchouli. So I don't know what the new ones like.
You should ask The Duck for a comparison of the two.

You did L'attesa! Finally! Loved your thoughts and I agree, the performance could be better although the scent itself is so beautiful that it ticks all the boxes for me. Elegant, luxurious, fluffy, creamy and rooty, depending on the weather and time, this is a splendid Iris creation. I wish the woodsy base lasted longer and was more intense, but I suppose it's alright given the glorious 2-3 hours and that incredible bottle. Got myself a 35ml for $100. Worth every penny. Buying a Hiris decant soon.
I also think that the more you spray the different shape it takes; so please do consider spraying 4-5 sprays from that sample to get a clear idea of what this is. Although you're bang-on about it descriptively. I personally put it over Iris Cold Mist which is too cold for me. This has the cold and the warm qualities which shapeshift according to your skin and the weather.

L’Atessa is beautiful but the newer bottles from Masque Milano are now only in those beautiful but very small 30ml bottles, but it is exquisite!
I get no feel of Tuberose in L’atessa, but perhaps my nose does not know. I find it to be an extremely beautiful Iris fragrances, and all I smell when I spray it is Iris. But my bottle is not new, which may be a factor. However, you just said the magic word, L’Atessa is beautiful but it is gone un a nano second.
It is expensive and only comes in a 3O ml bottle, unless they changed the fragrance. Also, carrot seed is extremely complimentary to any Iris fragrance and attributes to a more good smelling Iris fragrance.
Yes those 30ml bottles are beautiful but that is a lot of $ for not a lot of juice 😬
Hiris has been my go-to fragrance for many many years ago. It is still among my very favorite Iris fragrances. I still love L’Atessa, but my heart is still with Hiris.

I haven't tried this one but im bout to pull the trigger on it i think. I dont like Dior Homme Intense so if bits similar to that, i may pass on it. But i love fresh iris scents such as prada lhomme and armani code parfum. This one sounds better to me.

Yeah, 100% they should have had a better base for that gorgeous top & mid! But, these days, I’ll take a gorgeous top & mid! At least the base doesn’t ruin it with AmberXtreme Bomb or anything!

My current favourite iris is No1 iris by Prada exclusive... unsweetened sandalwood, myrrh, incense drydown, with a little added prada soapyness 👌

@@RamseytheRam they so are 👍... I think it's to do with them being so expensive and only available in 30ml and then getting the 🪓 almost impossible to find now... especially the Cuir Amber.

That's my beef with it, the nondescript woody metallic base after a while, it reads a bit generic, especially at that price point, that's a hard sale I agree. If you have the chance, get yourself a sample of Chanel La Pausa EDT, I'd be curious to hear your take on it. Cheers Rams!

I know that ten years down the line this will probably be discontinued and people will pay 10x it's price for a bottle, most probably good quality Irises won't be easily available given that prices will only skyrocket for this already expensive flower. But apart of quality, it's just a gorgeous thing to wear. Modern perfumes usually are more of a miss than a hit for us, but this one's a one in a hundred. Back-up worthy as an Iris fanboy.
As an Iris fanboy I agree it is beautiful... would be shocked if people paid 10 times the price though🤷♂️
Hey Ramsey you have to try from Meleg Civet cat Chypre from Meleg Perfumes. I had a small bottling of the 2020 version and it was a beautiful, old school scent. I've heard that the new version doesn't come close to the old one but nevertheless the 2020 was a wonderful chypre very old fashioned and a touch uriney. You have to test the old and the new one my friend. Greetings from Germany
I only did one Meleg video on the channel and it wasnt that one ... although I have lots of samples to test from Meleg & talk about on the channel I dont think that is one of them ... hope to get to sniff it soon ... there is a Meleg playlist but only one video is in it... just like there is now a Masque Milano playlist with now only one video in it... Hiris was my signature scent for at least 12-13 years until I started going down the rabbit hole and own more perfumes than years to live. However, I still love Hiris and wear it often.
I love Hiris.. i think its the best Iris you can get for 100 bucks in the secondary market ... such a beautiful perfume 🤌🤌🤌
I have to agree with you regarding L’attesa. I have had the bottle for a long time and do not remember the price. I do remember that it only comes in a 30 ml bottle as all Masque Milano fragrances, so I rarely wear it as it is so special, however, perfumes are made to be worn and not just smelled so I will start wearing it again.
I also agree that Iris Silver Mist is great. I have the bell jar of it and have to dab it on, and yet it lasts for a very long time, especially when dabbed on clothes. However, my bottle is an original and I have no idea how the new version smells, especially if it is watered down like a lot of them are these days. Great video on this perfume Ramsey!

Masque is a confusing company for me. I’d like to smell white whale and sleight of fern soon enough. Scent of the day is Stronger with you oud. “Men shouldn’t smell like this” but for me it’s a guilty pleasure
I would like to smell the whole Masque line one day ... i have never smelled those stronger with you fragrances so I can judge you there my friend lol
