I remember back before 2010. Still just a kid in high school. I didn't know of too much extreme music. But Pig Destroyer was one band I did know of. Slammed this on repeat back then. 10 years later, really developed in extreme music. This and Prowler in the Yard was my stuff. Listening to the first time in quite a while. Simply wonderful.

kind of, it doesn't sound like most grind, it's far, far catchier and has more groovy and catchy thrash riffs, also it's kind of more technical. it's more like grind infused with technical death metal with an emphasis on the riffs being catchy and groovy idk

I can't possibly imagine any argument for Book Burner over this, that album was just bad. Unless you're pretending Book Burner didn't happen. Grind fans will argue Ward 6 over this and it's understandable because it's more true to grind, but if we're talking about overall quality I still think this is hands down better than Ward 6. Terrifyer and Prowler are the only full albums in their discog I think are clearly better than this. *38 Counts of Battery doesn't count because it's a compilation.
Well the genre is called grindcore, hardcore influences like breakdowns are a given. Still provides an aural assault that no mere metalcore album could ever muster which is even more impressive when you consider this wasn't recorded with any bass guitar. (Or so I've read)

I actually found it a couple of years ago, probably around the time you originally asked. I can't find it now, but I remember it was a sermon or religious speech, about a very devout man who went to work on an oil rig. Another man made fun of him for his beliefs constantly. One day, the oil rig has some sort of catastrophe, causing part of it to explode. This is where the sample starts, and the man who is all burnt was the one mocking the man who pulled him from the flames. In the end it was something about how hellfire always awaits the worst sinners or something like that.
Trigger drums and artsy fartsy lyrics that could have been written by an edgy 13 year old. It doesn't get worse then this. I wish Seth were still around to make fun of such people.

Pig Destroyer, Napalm Death, Agrophobic Nosebleed and Carcass are the only decent grindcore bands in my opinion. Most other ones are crap
Dude, there's a lot more of good grind out there. You have to know them though. Look for 'Clinging in the trees of a forest fire ' , really intense.
