So what did you think of the South Beach, Ocean Drive strip?? Drop your first impressions below 👇🏽😁👍🏽
As a Miamian Barbara Capitman who you highlighted at the end of your video is a HERO to us & responsible for saving all of the Art Deco district you saw on South Beach. In the 1970's Miami Beach was a dying resort city & they wanted to raze all of the old Art Deco buildings because they were populated by the elderly at the time & replace them with new hotels that you see everywhere in Florida now. She brought an awareness to how special South Beach was!....RIP to Barbara!
Her contributions certainly did not go unnoticed, Xoxxo Bob!! I am grateful for her work! 🌃
Great video! thanks for sharing👌we are heading to Miami from UK this month and can't wait🥰
That's so exciting!! Hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful time soaking up the sun, architecture, and food 😊👍🏾
You need to come back to Miami Beach . A lot things have totally changed since last year. Miami is my new HOMETOWN. Miami Beach is my playground.
July is 95 degrees ( 108 heat index) 80 degrees is nice in Miami Beach.
No more cars on Ocean Drive and all the Miami Dade County buses run now on Collins Ave.
I’d love to take another trip to Miami 😁 Just have to wait for the right time 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks for the tips Miguel!
I’ve been several times but never took public transportation because I was so scared to mess up and get lost. Thank you!! If you ever return I would recommend the BIG PINK restaurant just a little farther down than the Boulevard you chose. It’s sooooo good!!! You did great showing how to buy tickets in the airport I was so overwhelmed I gave up 😔
You’re welcome shilohhosanna!!Thankfully we were able to locate the bus station after walking for what seemed like forever in airport 😂 trying to figure out where to go is the hard part 😬 Next time we’re in Miami I’ll be sure to look up Big Pink, thank you for the suggestion 👏🏽❤️
When did you go (planning on going in Feb and wondering how hot it will be)
Hey Zanib! We went in July - the middle is summer. It was toasty hot 🔥 but Feb should be much cooler!
Good info 👍 Wts the bus you took ? So you could manage without rental car ??
Yes, correct Pavani! It was pretty easy to survive without a rental car. We took the Miami beach airport express bus 150 to get to South Beach from the airport. Are you looking to go to Miami soon?
@@FrolicAndCourage yes in November any info on Zika virus
Awesome
Did you have your luggage when you ate lunch at Boulevard?
Hey Lakisha! No, we didn’t have our luggage 🧳 Our hotel was able to store them while they were preparing our room 👍🏽
At least if you know what to expect on this first trip so if you want to go back you can take things to a higher level if you want
Oh, absolutely!! If/when we go again we are going to take it to the next level 😉
Good videos‼️ what kind of camera do you use ?
Thank you Carlos, I really appreciate your comment 😃 I use the Sony RX 100 IV
How’s the people there with tourists?
We didn’t have any problems being tourists 😊
