And there’s always the option to run 2 piece Ceska in addition to whatever set you choose (striker or umbra) but you opted for the Momento, also a stellar choice

The foundry bullwork build you did recently with the chameleon was awesome and made it to a saved load out. This one I’m not digging very much. It’s probably a me issue but this build seems to lack the damage of my other backfire builds. I’m guessing it because I’m not using the new modifiers and playing countdown. Went back to running two ceska with intimidate and two cavalier with walker named adrenaline rush plus catharsis. Max hazard with 49% protection from elites at 1.4 armor. Seems to be easy to survive and hit a lot harder. Might have to figure out those modifiers I guess. Thanks for all the builds
Trying to make some backfire builds myself and honestly have not found much success. Any builds you'd reccomend? With and without Exotics.
@ three striker , ceska, cavalier with ninja bike. Hazard on everything but one piece. If not using striker chest use obliterate with ceska. All mods with protection against elites and survivalist class using shield and healing ball. 1.2-1.6 armor depending on preference. That’s my favorite backfire, especially for countdown. The backfire has been my favorite SMG since its creation...that and the M1928
I have a Backfire build from about a year ago, it wasn't keeping up with Strikers. The stacks were harder to get and maintain. Then again I am not the best player out there =)
Instead of improvised gloves: Chill-out mask for extra 5% armor, because now it's chill out farming season ;)
80% bleed resist is more than enough. Your Memento will heal up the rest. (or try this build with the Chatterbox -> no reloads! )
Also at max stacks with the backfire you don't bleed anyway. Pretty fun gun . Has some range too
Chatterbox ends up in the- omg too fast RoF with max stacks. And then you dump your mag on air and are sad. But ya, it's also hella strong (prefer with HF and intimidate myself tho and not umbra).
@@grumpyoldman6503 Yes. Chatterbox + Hunters Fury is my preferred combo as well. I run it with Obliterate but i'll give it a try it with Intimidate (since they nerfed Obl).
@@grady.stu.8300 Memento does not prevent the bleed from Backfire. The 3% armor regen will heal you thru it but it does not prevent the bleed. (unless it's bugged of course ;-) )
Thanks for this, I've been trying to put a build together with this gun for a couple of months now and haven't found anything that works well with it for how i play (mostly balls to the wall running and gunning). I'll try this set up with what i got and see how i get on with it. Much appreciated 💪 🤜

Golden Bullet puts this modifier system to shame, it's the best thing in Division 2 for me. I'm not trying to think about distances and situational this or that. I also don't have to put a whole new build together for it that won't work the same once it's gone. I wish we could turn any event on at any time, i don't think i would ever turn off golden bullet, it's very fun and doesn't feel restrictive.
Umbra doesn't work for me? tried a few builds lately cant get any of them to work properly with Umbra so gave up.
So it looks like Season 2 turned out to be much better than the negative community vibe suggested in the month prior. Its an enjoyable season overall, with many new build choices. The only caveat is that the season system takes much longer to complete. So, if you are a casual player with only 2h per week to spare, then you won't even get to the modifiers ^^

I can appreciate these changes considering the dev team is as small as it is right now but I just expected something better I suppose. At the end of the day I’m still running the exact same missions I’ve been doing for numerous years…

I didn't know you were allowed to reroll exotics now. Heck yeah. I made a build the other day for this gun. I'm short on mods but had 80 percent hazard protection and 88 percent bleed protection. Id bleed, burn, whatever for maybe a second. Definitely helps to not lose control when run n gunnin. I used striker
Also you said that the talent used to be 1% crit dmg with a stack of 100 but it was with a stack of 200 previously.
Ran this build for a control point and american history museum on heroic. This build is 👍
been to countdown😡... i can't seem to get a single peace with hazard protection already rolled on it... same goes for crafting.. this is frustrating as hell😡

Crafting for me is a no go. Everything I craft either is rolled wrong or is so low it takes a huge amount of resources to fix.

Just put the build together today, and for some reason the icon for the buff doesn’t appear in the over-world but appears in countdown, missions, and etc.. is this a bug or does it not work in open world.
Glitch explained at end of video. You have to unequip and equip one piece to fix if it happens.

I have a question. Would you rather the Lexi sacrifice the higher dmg for the ability to reroll it with any perfect talent available? Or is it better the way it is?
All the good talents are already taken . Having a god rolled Lex with higher base DMG and a talent I can switch out for my needs is pretty much perfect imo . Otherwise you just have another AR with another worthless "Perfect" talent .
The memento backpack would be a go for me, if we didn't need to manually pick up the trophies. But instead it was automatically sent to us after killing the enemy.
On a run-and-gun build like this one you're always picking up trophies. I run the Memento on most builds. Even without picking up trophies, at full stacks you get 30% weapon damage, 3% armor regen, and 30% skill efficiency. No other exotic beats this.
@@AlfaStation1 I'm not saying no other exotic beats it. I just saying it would be nice not to have to go and pick up the trophies just so you can have the exotic talent active.
Use bloodsucker, it's a good replacement if survivability is what you're after. Maybe slam it on grupo or something.
Bloodsucker is a good defensive alternative, especially with Palisade as featured in the vid. Deathgrips + palisade Bloodsucker and firewall is also really strong and has no trophies to manage.
@@thirdmeow2270great suggestion. Love bloodsucker. I use it on my ranged builds on a Palisade pack. All the survivability you need.
I run the backfire all the time.
previous the stacksizee was 200, 1% per stack - 0.5% armor damage per stack = 100%
now the stacksizee is 100, 2% per stack - 0.5% armor damage per stack = 50%
my countdown build, ninja, ceska, cavalier, 3 striker
100% hazpro, 48% PFE, shield foam, skills can be disrupted
thanks for clarifying that, I think i remembered the old setup wrong.
Losing the bonus armor feels bad as it's most of the point, but ya NBB is way easier now to get to 100% hazpro regardless.
SMG brings crits with no investment so it works fine especially in dense content.
Can't you just hop into cover and the umbra repair will stop the bleed?
totally. But its not really the pain that sucks as much as that damn animation red screen.

How do we reroll reroll exotic attributes? I get no option while tinkering
Also I noticed you have extra crit damage from "offensive protocol : critical" .... what is that? I'm only seeing a jagged muzzle in my stat list when I click on crit dmg 🤔
so if I dont use any crit dmg mods like i've see on your build, I get only 50% base crit dmg before the stacks 🤷♂️ and if I use improvised gloves with crit dmg on them I'll only get a total of 62%.. how is yours 84%? What am i missing?

The moment you hit SHD lvl 1000 there's no difference except for a little less health . But even below lvl 1000 this build works just fine .

Yikes. Better start finding another game. What are you planning on doing? Don’t you feel like you’re missing out on the game with every season being centered on modifiers for the foreseen future of this game?
@TuxedoBandido played Division 1 from day 1 that never had modifiers just repayable content. Division 2 is still playable i like running countdown with my various builds but to me the modifiers take away what the Division was. Luckily there's been some good stuff out recently so not short of other games to play. I do suspect I'm not alone in my opinions and think all the devs have done is reduce an already dwindling player count.
