Hehe, my sage and your white mage be like *insert spider-man meme*. Looks awesome. I particularly liked the sprite. The elementals are on my list of creatures for both summoner and scholar. And a blood elemental would be pretty neat.
@@dekken It was great to see what you made with everything too. As for the elementals, I am still in the planning process. Since they are just VFX anchored to a single bone, I can use pretty much any creature's ability I want without fear of them breaking. But that amount of freedom also means a lot of choices to make.
@@sortofarbitrary6688 Yeah makes sense, thats how I was able to use the sprite here. Very interesting that they are technically VFX. Im not sure any other creature in the game that operates that way. Made it very easy to put on liturgy.
@@dekken There is one other select creature in the game that behaves the same way. A few things like the plumes in Garuda's fight are similar. As for the elementals, I believe their monster number is 0153. There are three variants, with one of them, the earth elemental, having more than 1 bone. My plan with that one is to use the Corrupted Elemental VFX from Pharos Sirius for earth instead of the typical earth elemental.
this exact concept is something ive wanted for SO LONG!!!! ive been using it for a week now and its my favorite mod ever now 🖤 one tip for those who play pvp: i highly recommend NOT importing the Limit Break portion of the mod (it may be helpful to add that in the mod description as well), as the LB is absolutely massive and since its opaque, will take over your whole screen if other white mages are using it across the maps, especially funny since whm is the most played pvp healer and will chain blind your screen haha
This is amazing and easily 100x cooler than base whm. idc what lore reason there is for having whm just flash bang themselve and the entire group every 6 sec -- just make them not neon white -- please devs.
I really love using this mod however I've been having this issue with elements and enemies that cast stone or aero. I use prenumbra and have the mod in a collection for just myself, however for some reason when an enemy uses stone or aero they're casting Glare or Dia. Not having Hemoglare and Hemodia on fixes the issue, but somehow when I'm using Stone IV (at around level 64) I still have a blood theme'd attack. Is there a way you could use a version of this mod that doesn't change how stone 1-3 looks but keeps the blood effects on the later spells?
Sorry to come back to the old video, but if you're still around, I'd love to know how you imported those job action icons. I figured out how to edit names with Namingway, but I really have no idea how to go about changing icons like the job guage and glare etc. etc. would really appreciate some help!
Penumbra needs UI stuff set up independently, I believe through a custom UI collection. If you install through textools, there should be no issue on that front
I would love to see you make something for the WHM that is more druid themed or more of an elementalist. Yes, the WHM lore wise is meant to be a speaker for nature and the elements, but after you get to lvl 70 I'd say, you lose a lot of that feel with the Stone and Aero attacks becoming all sparkly and shiny. Additionally it'd be awesome to see you do something for the SMN like giving them abilities themed around the Primal fights or certain types of magic and for the BLM make it where they could cast light magic or elemental magic or something cool like that. :D
First off, this mod is freaking awesome! I don't play healer, I suck at it, but watching others be blood mages are just amazing. Second, where did you get that glam you use in the video?
Yeah! Not all of them, but my class overhaul mods and most of my random mods I use. the animation mods I tend to only use specific ones of since most of them were from commissions, not personal projects
@@dekken Oh sorry I should've clarified, I meant more in the sense like, to create your character in specific. Eyes, hair, face, etc Also, while I have this chance I've been using your Ascian teleport and dark knight animation changes and it is absolutely stellar, especially the teleport.
@@Mr.Krimpy Thank you! I use the ikemen face mod (might get the spelling wrong), hythlodaeus hair, and eyes of the ancient mod), as well as the bites mod to get vampire fangs. I edited the face texture of ikemen to be paler and to have black scleras.
Nice video. However this is currently set to public. I would HIGHLY recommend setting this to private so not just everyone can see.... including the dev team.... which would lead them right back to the archive. You know.... since modding is against ToS and can get you banned if you actually get caught.
