Absolutely agree with you on everything, Steve. I splashed the cash on this last week and I've yet to see a bad review.I Lots of hard work and thought have gone into every aspect of the product from the packaging, gimmicks, the wallet itself and of course the download. Dee Christopher and Lewis Le’Val go into lots of detail of how to perform the tricks even to the psychology as to why certain phrases, moves and sequencing enhance the effect. Also there is the book test too. I've watched the download, but get the feeling I'm going to re watch time and time again because there is so much good advice and real craft gone into the download. Just can't wait for lockdown to end and have a chance to use it!
Awesome piece of kit! I can’t wait to get out and use it at gigs. Such a hidden in plain sight items. The wise ones will realise you can add other effects to the wallet such as between the lines by Michael Murray, prediction effects etc to have a great set 🙏
I brought this like a day after it came out. I absolutely love this wallet. You can have a full show in here. Peek, Thought of Card to Wallet and all the magic you can add in the slots such as Will To Read by Steve Dela. I recently have a jam with magicians coming up with a bunch of different ideas using this. This is a tool to advance Mentalism and Magic. 100%, brilliant 👏
Great conversation Steve....Looking for a wallet like this. Wanted an "outs" device that I could use Elite Killer pro with... or other types of mentalism or tricks! And that can hold money and packet tricks...looks like something you would carry.
I have this, and it is very special. My only complaint is the filter, I have a Telethought wallet, and the filter is so much better(black when required, and very bright when required), I have swapped the filters, and wow, what a difference. Now, this is the best it could be. So Dee if possible look at other filters.
@@Si-ew3ff I stopped using filters. Instead, I use all peek devices in the same way Lewis Le Val does. Sometimes, we magicians overthink :). But my go-to peek now is just a stack of business cards and a double undercut. I also carry the Shadow.
I've had this for about a week now. And to me the "Named card in wallet" feature alone makes me satisfied with it. I'm not a huge fan of the peeks involved as I have ways I use that serve me quite well. But again, I'm still quite satisfied with the money spent because the card in wallet thing from such a small and thin looking wallet is sooo strong when presented properly. Only 2 minor nit-picks I have. One is the "outs" set up. The top layer is doubled up with 4 outs, and then there's the one level below it for the other two (if you have it, you know what I mean). This make it a bit more tricky if you have big fingers, and it also makes it thicker at the mouth opening, so if someone gets a glimpse at it from the side, there's a alot visible. Proper handling of the wallet can control this, but I don't know for the life of me why they didn't make it a three level out section. There was enough room, and it would have made it much easier to display the wallet as empty after removing the one chosen card. Second nit-pick is that when inserting the specs card to use the peek feature, you need to be careful because you are in essence fighting the out section on the way in. One extra layer of cloth could have solved this. But nit-picks aside, I'd recommend no one be put off by these things as they are relatively easy to work around, and the product is still well worth the money spent because you can truly do a whole act out this wallet. Id still greatly recommend it to anyone.
Hey Jay, glad you’re enjoying the wallet! There are six pockets in the index - the other two are at the top of the divider; so they actually sit inside the centre of the index, rather than at the back of it! :) Sorry if that wasn’t clear in the instructions - I thought we covered it quite well, but I’ll take another look at the video just in case I can make it clearer!
@@DeeChristopher I think maybe I explained it wrong Dee. I just meant that the top 4:outs are all on the same level by design (J's and Qs). Because of this my fat finger finds it a bit tricky to get the J of each suit out of its respective pocket, because its right along side the Qs. The Q and K are easy to separate because they are on different levels/layers so access is easy. I was just wondering why not just have the out section on 3 different levels for easier access to any of the 3 cards you night need (J,Q or K). But of course it's a nit-pick I know and my apologies..lol. But I still think the wallet is fantastic and it is now my official EDC.
JayMetal 1 Aha, I get you! I did read it wrong! Haha! The reason we had to do it in that way was simply due to the space available without making the wallet to big to fit in the average front pocket. Another potential solution is to place the Jack’s in front of the index, or one in front and one behind, you’ll still be able to do the “showing empty” move if you want, just by covering whichever card(s) are in the front pocket with your fingers! It should be super easy to do that!🤘🏻
@@DeeChristopher That's understandable. And great tip, I'll tinker around with the idea. Much appreciate your time and response Dee. You not only put out a great product that you fully stand behind, but your attention to customer service is always second to none my friend.
It's so tempting to see such wonderful utility tools coming out but I stop myself from buying it all just because of one point : At the end it's about getting the information from the spectator secretly. I have an impression device and it does the job quite well for me. What are your thoughts?
Brilliant review of this wallet. I'm quite excited about this. I own Alakazam's Pantera Wallet. Same peek principle. But I really like the multiple outs feature and the routine that goes with it. There are two things that are holding me back is the price. $85 CAD . The other one is that I don't have any tattoos. Will the wallet still work for me without them? ;) Love your new hairdo. Makes you look much younger.
Hi Steve. I want a wallet and I've been waiting for you to review this. David at magicorthodoxy introduced 1914 to me and has reviewed this wallet. Now I've seen your take on it, and read the endorsing comments already attached to this video ....... I think I'm going to have to get one! I look forward to Q&A on Monday 👍 ... Update 1hour later ... I have now got one on its way to me. 😁

I’m just getting back into all of this, so I’m looking forward to exploring more 😊😊
Was literally just searching about this!
Great review, Steve! I agree with you 100%! The subtleties a and reasonings they discuss in the videos are absolute gems.

Nice review Steve. I love the Razor, so very tempted on this. Nice Summer trim, BTW. 😁

Yeah it’s not cheap, but a lovely thing. And I’m afraid you really need a tattoo. Preferably a neck one. Sorry man.
In search of the prefect peek. Ever closer.
