So you own the older shape Range Rover Sport (the L320) and want to make Spotify work through the Audio System. Exactly how do you connect or stream Spotify using Bluetooth through the speakers of a Range Rover Sport 2005-2013? Is it even possible Well yes and no.
Unlike the new shape Range Rover model with its InControl Touch System which lets you seamlessly set up and stream Spotify music via Bluetooth, the older models don’t have this same functionality built-in, so you unfortunately can’t do it so easily via Bluetooth (even with a Bluetooth receiver plugged into the Aux port, until Spotify recognise these as ‘devices’ on your phone, the app still won’t let you connect and stream via Bluetooth in this way. But watch this space with their future updates), however that’s not to say you can’t listen to Spotify at all through your audio system, it just takes a little know-how and setting up.
    HOW TO CONNECT:
What you need: a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack wire. These can be bought on eBay cheap enough.
Connect your phone using the hidden Aux connector as shown in the video and then follow the instructions. In no time, you’ll be listening to your favourite Spotify playlists whilst cruising along in your Range Rover Sport!

It’s more of a “standard feature” than a hack but yeah there’s an audio in jack on the back of the console.. I was hoping you were gonna show us how to update firmware for the denso unit which gave us the Bluetooth media streaming that the later models have, and link it in the description.. ah well I keep looking

The next step is to come up with some kind of connectivity miracle that allows Apple car play on the stock L320 audio system in particular for model years 2010- 11 hopefully a plug & play solution ( I know am asking too much )

I think the volume on Aux is low because your phone's volume is low, the phone sees the Aux cable as headphones..
    Thanks for the videos (-:

The AUX sound level is lower than the radio. Is there any workaround to make the AUX level the same as the radio?

Have you looked into the "Bovee" adapter fitting, it's made specifically for the Range Rovers and Jaguars. It's around 80-100 dollars US but once you plug it into your center console it hooks up through a bluetooth connection and once you start your car every time it'll connect automatically just like it would OEM..

Good find, may need to get one of those. It's mad that my Defender has Spotify streaming but my Range Rover doesn't!

Does the level of Bluetooth get louder playing music with the bovee interface? I’m using an aux to Bluetooth adapter and it doesn’t crank loud enough for my taste.

Have a look at Bovee adaptors, that should do what you need.
