I’m here in Prescott and know one of the guys who came wheeling with ya. Great footage, even if you’re a one man filming crew. We have gotten lots of footage recently for the channel, including Camp Wood and Fair Oaks Road. Looking forward to trying Smiley Rock some day!
Not much for comments but I really respect your rig and may follow suit on some of the build. Probably just going to build up my Dana 30 and 8.25 rather than swapping. Anyhow, enough said. Nice work.
How dose your xj do wheeling in the AZ heat? I’m personally always worried about it overheating even tho I’ve redone the whole cooling system just Becuse they always run so hot. anything in particular you recommend on prep before hitting the trails to have some peace of mind or am I just overthinking it😅I’m in Utah so not as hot AZ but still!
It does excellent and it’s just a bone stock cooling system that I’ve always maintained rigorously. It never over heats even on 105 degree days. Just gotta take care of them and make sure you have good airflow through the rad. If the AC condenser fins are plugged with debri it will cause low airflow.
Love XJ's and at the moment doing alot I mean alot of work to my 97 4 door frame stiffeners, as well as the coil spring conversion in the rear what springs did you go with? I'm also doing a ton swap 05 dana 60 3 linked up front, 14 bolt with disk break conversion and 4 linked in the rear both regeared with 5.38's on 40's
@@mountaincrawlers8 You have a sick XJ, Thank's for the response hell yeah! I went with the front 3 link w/Jonny joint's from iron rock off road I got a screaming deal from black Friday last year and I've pieced the 4 link in rear, from Barnes 4WD, and the coil spring conversion from Clayton off road, was thinking a max lift of 6.5/7" would be ideal, waiting till I finish up the front and rear axle and get them back under bolted up and start flexing it out to see what the clearances are and what my number's will be for shocks and bump stops, limiting straps, and hopefully not a bunch of spring changes to find the right one's
Sick rigs! I'm loving the no doors on your XJ... I have to do that to mine. 🤙🏽
This looks like alot of fun. One day I’ll come to AZ and wheel
