Good visual man, thanks for your videos, I'm digging into them, nice content all along Timmy, keep it up and you'll see the fruits of your work. You're a good teacher.
Hey Emmanuel, WOW, you're really going through the videos! I feel like a student being tested by the teacher, lol!
Astral Auto Repairs no way man! I really enjoy your videos, you have such a great personality. I chuckle every time I hear the "can you dig it?" Part. Will keep watching and learning brother.
Have a great day 😎
Man you just gave me the best idea ever radio contact with the wife to have her check it for me, awesome
LOL, THANKS!
On to something, intake temp sensor require job, suspect, also might not be talking to maf with reliable reference ground, weird ass sheild wire around maf needs ground, yep I’m also stumped on warm idle lope
hi, I have a 97 Nissan pickup xe, automatic transmission, it keeps going into open loop after its in closed loop, switching back and forth from closed to open. I recently replaced the iat sensor, o2 upstream sensor, fuel filter, engine coolant sensor and new thermostat, but it continues to behave way still. I'm suspecting a intake vacuum leak, from a hose, or and an exhaust manifold leak. I can hear a swirling sound coming near the air filter housing area, sounds like its coming from below it but not sure. I appreciate any advice you could offer?, btw nice detail on your video and camera view. Prior to this the truck had stalled on me whenever I came to a stop, I cleaned the maf sensor and throttle body port, and that helped it, it doesn't stall anymore but just the open to closed loop repeating randomly.
Hi Hector, let us know if you have any codes, also, if you can take a video of the data on your scan tool showing the fluctuation between closed and open, that would be GREAT.
Astral Auto Repairs I have no codes
Can you do a video of the scan tool doing this, so we can see the other values as well?
Astral Auto Repairs I uploaded the video, click on the link on my last post.
Okay, I see it, will look at it now, thanks!
I have a 1997 Nissan pickup truck. It seems like it's skipping and don't want to get up to speed. As if it's not getting fuel or the right amount of air
I have a 1998 nissan frontier code p0100...just start but running rough soon as I mash the gas paddle it knocks off
Did you ever figure out your issue? I'm having the same problem. New sparks new injectors and same issue
No I just changed the throttle position sensor and unplugged the charged air sensor seems to be doing better I'll know in the morning
So if it reads 5v then it's good?
When it’s malfunctioning would it act like a limiter ? Like it wouldn’t let you pass certain rpms ?
No, the vehicle will run the same, you probably won't even feel a difference.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos Per the service manual, when the sensor errors, it puts the ECM into Fail-Safe Mode with a default temperature setting of 65 degrees. So in essence, the engine will be idling rough and burning rich. So best to fix the problem before it causes other more expensive issues.
Good channel good work
Thanks!

Astral Auto Repairs your welcomed. I'm with you brother. I hate working on folks cars to find out that the battery is dead.

What’s the part # or where can I buy this type of pig tail thank you
Try rockauto, Amazon, or the salvage yard.
Code p0705 Nissan pickup manual transmission please
Not impressed with having to watch his whole video only to not get the ohms resistance across IAT plug terminals.
Rewire job*
Where is the video for code P0705
We do not have that available in our video library at this time.
