@@normalcomic4768 I'm sure that more than one person will try to reanimate the entire movie when it comes out, regardless of whether it's good or not (but let's hope so). For animators like this one I don't think it will be difficult. However, the movie can be animated in 2 ways, the first would be this way, and the second would be the way the official short of the street vendor who was looking for a village to sell his stuff was animated, and I would opt for that method, I don't know if you know which one I'm referring to,

Cannot wait to see you guys do the entire movie and ratio them in every way. May your donation support make more money than they do in the box office.
I would not call this trailer "better"; it is absolutely astonishing how something this cool has been made in such few time! But I must say that a lot of the beauty of the trailer's visuals are gone here (at 0:28 in the official trailer it looks absolutely gorgeous). They simply don't try to do the same thing. One tries to have a unique visual identity and the other tries to have greater fidelity to the original game, while also taking way less time and resources to make while delivering the same level of quality. I think that if the Minecraft movie was not live action, people would say that it's just another minecraft animation among so many others, and a lot less good on the side of the story than others that already have been made. The official movie tries to go in a different direction. (I must say though, the thing with this animation's visual I like better are that the characters fit in way better and the proportions aren't messed up -_-)
All of my kids want this to be the movie. In fact they all collectively agree that they don’t want me to waste money at the movie theater if it doesn’t look like this. My kids are 14,12,9, and 5.
Sonic three is leagues above this film and we only seen the trailers 😂(did you know that Mufasa is going to be released released the same day as sonic three? They’re actually trying make that film compete with Keanu, Reeves and Jim Carrey in the same film.
Honestly. I love this. How you made the characters not move their mouths, how you made their entire emotions run though their eyes, it honestly feels like Minecraft. I would pay to watch this in theaters, and I'm not even an actual true 100% loving Minecraft fan.
The only flaw with this one is that the mouths seem almost too static, but some basic animations could fix that. They don’t even have to move, just change shape with the character’s expressions between shots. And it’s truly a testament to how good this is when THIS is the biggest issue with it.
Yes mouths not moving would be very unfriendly for people with hearing difficulties. With subtitles and not being able to hear the distinct voices it would be impossible to determine who is talking.
How can a fan made product that someone likely made *for free* be so much better than the pipe dream of a bunch of corporate entities trying to make money off of a long awaited movie adaptation?
Honestly, i think it would be cool to see the community come together to make the full minecraft movie themselves - like the spongebob squarepants movie rehydrated, everyone could animate a scene or something. Would be wholesome :)
PLEASE reanimate the whole movie when it comes out, I know this would probably take a gazillion years and an insane amount of resources but this is just so much better than the original.
This made me actually like the Steve moment. I literally cringed and put my face in my hands when i first watched it. But the animation of Steve here really redeems that whole scene. Hes so expressive, and makes the scene genuinely a bit funny, despite how awkward and cliche of an interaction it is writing-wise
Multiple channels have done this, and not even a full week after it’s teaser release. The more we uproar, hopefully Warner Bros will see they’ve messed up and fix it
@@JogyJoseph-bx6zq yeah but I feel like it's better if it doesn't, a lot of animations as well as games have tried to do that but it also looks choopy and awkward, it could have different expressions but watching the faces break and have depth or do that weird prism hole with tongue and teeth is way more immersion breaking
This is the best animated version I've seen by far. It isn't a non-fitting Minecraft style like most of the other ones. It isn't a downgrade. And it actually is better then the teaser. It even inspires me to do Minecraft animations.

This animation looks 1000x better than the official trailer. It’s all animated with no live action characters or cringy hyper-realistic CGI in sight. Something I wish the producers should’ve considered in the first place.
Its not 1000times better. Its impressive for one creator, but it is still just minecraft animation. People have done this a milion times on youtube.

Java has it too…
I’m pretty sure this is made in blender or another animation software not in Minecraft itself 🤭

I love how Ive seen this trailer re-animated sooooo many times, and every version pretty much looks better than the original
SAME! Why do these fan animations made WB Minecraft Movie look like a low-budget film?
@tommcan I agree with you on the graphics/VFX, but they made it where Live-action characters feel so out of place in the minecraft setting. It would've been better if they had the whole thing animated, including the characters.
@tommcan I prefer the look of this over the original. WB’s choice of live action actors and everything else to be fx doesn’t sit right with me. Especially when the fx looks sort of uncanny.
I think this is the best animated version of the trailer. It's high quality, smooth, but actually has correct minecraft scale and is not overcomplicated.
its insane how despite not liking the dialog this is still like 100x more endearing
I could've thown the cringe worthy dialog if they're at least looking like Minecraft characters like this video.
The fact that you basically animated a full minute of the movie in just a few days gives me hope that a full Hollywood super production would remake the movie in this style
yeah but that would involve fairly paying your animators. theyll steal 60 unpaid interns to do it in a month
i mean they did already get the actors and overall staff to do the work so theyd just have to pay twice the amount. not like the money wouldnt be returned because the movie would be better and more people would be willing to watch but idk i think they just dont wanna do that
Yeah I don't really see how hiring a bunch of actors and then telling them to f off and hiring animators instead is a smart idea
@@offsetmonkey538 Not necessarily. They can just have the part where the characters are in the real world to be in live action with the actors, then, have them turned into animated blocky characters once they enter the Minecraft world
@@YounesNounous So only use them for like the beginning of the movie? I guess if they like went back and forth then... maybe? still mostly animated in that case tho

Yea it looks both better and smoother
Minecraft story mode absolutely nailed the look, a movie exactly like that would be infinitely better than whatever the hell warner bros gave us
Compared to the other "Animated Minecraft Trailers" out there, I actually find this art style the most good and best out of all of them. They just add details like mouth movements and details with odd colors, a more streamlined and simple style like this fits way better with the spirit of Minecraft.
this is the minecraft trailer art style
@thatliamboi which makes it even funnier, if they just kept that style and just made an animated movie with beginning live action sections in the real world, EVERYONE would have been satisfied and happy! 😂
@@normalcomic4768 That is so true!
@@normalcomic4768 I'm sure that more than one person will try to reanimate the entire movie when it comes out, regardless of whether it's good or not (but let's hope so). @chloehunt7536 Yeah, the movie script bounced around for a long time
I would not call this trailer "better"; it is absolutely astonishing how something this cool has been made in such few time!
(I must say though, the thing with this animation's visual I like better are that the characters fit in way better and the proportions aren't messed up -_-)
They could have just made an animated movie like LEGO did but for some reason felt live actors would make it better.
I 100% agree

i prefer their mouths moving, this feels kind of unatural
@@nicky23anims68 I kinda meant Steve as he is done the best
The only flaw with this one is that the mouths seem almost too static, but some basic animations could fix that. They don’t even have to move, just change shape with the character’s expressions between shots. And it’s truly a testament to how good this is when THIS is the biggest issue with it.
Yes mouths not moving would be very unfriendly for people with hearing difficulties. With subtitles and not being able to hear the distinct voices it would be impossible to determine who is talking.

This is like the Sonic movie situation where fans corrected Sonic's model in the trailer. Unfortunately, there's no way the studio would or could fix all the visuals in their movie. They'd have to start over from scratch.
They already started over from scratch like 4+ times; that's why it's been 10 years. An extra reset to end up with this would be nothing.
