I hear you, brother. Every time I get under the hood of anything built after 1995, my joy goes away quick ... which is every single day now, LOL! I still work on small engines, boats, motorcycles, and the occasional aircraft, so that recharges the ol' batt-trees.

@@SmittySmithsonite I had to sell my 68, 69 & my other 69 ( which was just a roller ) years ago when I had to buy a house after I got married, " FREAKIN KILLED ME ". LOVE THE MY CARS. Don't know if I'll ever own another " MUSCLE CAR " again but I'm trying. Now working on these cars was DAMN FUN but as you said, JOY GOES AWAY QUICK working on these newer vehicles.

It's ironic that lotsa times you get a vehicle in from another shop where they replaced the PCM and the problem was something else entirely. In this case, the other shop seems to have monkeyed with everything in sight but the problem was the PCM.

Eric, after the 30 minute learn process has been completed, the Passlock anti theft is still in "Tamper" mode, and it takes another 10 minutes or so with the key off for it to start. So a total of about 40 minutes. That is why there was coil spark but no injector pulses. Happens to me a lot. Also the reason I think there was no negative output from the ECM to the relay, maybe, is because someone burned the driver chip inside the PCM using one of those nasty Power Probes and injecting a positive voltage with the probe while the PCM was supplying negative. Also you could have looked in the Live Data, not just "Crank Request" but the "Output to starter" PID. One more thing, there was no IGNITION OUT to the cam and crank sensor, it might have been shorted to ground. I gotten a few of this cases.
