As the nation prepares to celebrate the 114th National Day, the Parliament of Bhutan released a Musical Video (MV) through BBS yesterday. The MV was premiered at the Raven Lounge, National Council of Bhutan on December 14, 2021.
The premiere was attended by the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Hon'ble Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon'ble Chairperson of the National Council, Hon'ble Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and Secretariat staff of both the Houses.
The MV is dedicated to the Wangchuck Dynasty for their sacrifice, far-sighted and visionary leadership, and unprecedented prosperity, peace and happiness brought to the nation and its people. The MV is, therefore, intended for all Bhutanese to better understand our Beloved Monarchs, realize how much we owe Them.
What makes this programme particularly significant is that, for the first time in the history of the Bhutanese Parliament, the Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Members of the Parliament and the officials from the two Houses all came together not only to support the programme but also to participate in the dance to produce the video.
The MV is an offering of felicitation to our beloved Kings from the Parliament of Bhutan.
