I immediately opened this as soon as the notification popped up on my phone! I hope you get around to uploading the complete opera. I’ve already listened to your Salome and Elektra several times over!
me too! what a teasure this channel is!
🎹 Breathtaking! And the conducror let's the score breathe from one section to the next without rushing it.. thus revealing all of its' glories.
Wow yes!! I sincerely hope you get around to doing the whole thing, although of couerse i realise how much work that would be! Thank you so much
Yay, you're back! This is awesome
*SCREAMS* THANK YOU‼️
Awesome, thank you very much!
Thanks for this!!!!!!
Fabulous composer, what a brilliant masterpiece
Schwer Dunkel What a amazing answer! Thank you 🙏🏻
Even the late Glenn Gould admitted in an interview that he loves Strauss’s music as much as he loves Bach and Beethoven!
I am still utterly stumped in disbelief as to how such a staggering work of genius in art can go almost entirely unnoticed! It truly breaks the heart 💔
Same here. I don't get it.
What do you mean? It's performed regularly all over the world.
@@nohaylamujer yes of course, but one in how many people on earth will ever hear this colossal masterpiece?
It’s incredibly hard to cast, and the plot is abhorrently stupid. And the music is a little to repetitive too balance those flaws. There are better Strauss operas.
I still really enjoy Frosch, but she’s heavily flawed.

Not sure if thrilled or kinda freaked out by the fact that your highlights are also my personal favourites of this, rather obscure, Strauss masterpiece!
It means you have excellent taste! ;)
Literally yes to all of this
If Die Frau ohne Schatten is „rather obscure“, what’s Friedenstag?
@@zalba5710 plain obscure.
Que sinistro.
Nice. BTW remember how you tried to do Wagner's Tannhauser but couldn't? Korean UA-camr CYS Siot has done the job for you!
Hey tomekkobialka. Did you do the complete score of the opera?
33:15
10:10
Non plus ultra
Where is “Wehe, mein Mann”???
This is only a taster, there is a lot of beautiful music that has been left out!
