shaykh hasan ali is upon the haq. he has clocked it what is to be a muslimuun. you need certain aspects salafism to know your deen becuase it helps distinguish haq from baat il, this is to nourish your mind. you also need certain aspects of sufism like zikr, duaa, reflection and solitude to spiritually connect with your creator. once you combined both narratives you will peace and tranquility, it will make you sincere inshallah. note I am saying certain aspects so dont bash me by saying sufi or salfist but i will say muslimun is better term.
certain aspect of sufism to clense the heart

Salaf is the short term for Salaf Saliheen, meaning to following the ways of the best three generation of muslims in terms of aqeedha and practice. So in theory this is the correct way and the essence of the Ahul Sunnah Wal jamaah. I don't know about Sufis or sufism, But in general any one who prays five times a day, facing the same gibla and eats from the same form of slaughtering are by default Muslim unless he/she does anything that nullifies Islam. What did Prophet (saw) said to do in order to be among the saved sect? he said to hold on to the Quran and his Sunnah. So as long as you are doing that then you are among the saved sect. Most of these quarrels occur when people are ignorant about Islam and Sunnah.

Mohamed Mifxal What you are saying is technically true, but what is important to understand is that as br Omer Idrees has said, the first three righteous generations include the Four Imams. Imam Abu Hanifah (RA) learned directly under the feet of Sahabah. But, more importantly, what we need to understand is that you cannot simply go into a time machine and engage those first three generations. Salafism is seriously misinformed in this regard; you cannot simply open the books and think, "BAM! I automatically have the understanding of the Salaf woohoooo!" Nay, this is not how life works. In order to have the correct understanding, you need to go to the Scholars who are CONNECTED via the SANAD, BACK to the First Three Generations. These are the Shuyookh who have INHERITED the knowledge that has been transmitted down the ages via ijazah which authenticated credible scholars from deviants and along with the ijma of the shuyookh, a standard of credibility was maintained.
Anyways, I would advise everyone to listen to this lecture and actually pay attention to his points. Ramadan Kareem!

I agree with him, my comment was targeted to those who are stubborn with extreme views about Salaf, whenever scholars disagree then we have to resort back to the Quran and the sunnah and the Salaf. There are two things, ijthihaad made by the salaf and comments or statements made by the Salaf that can only would come from knowledge they acquired from the Prophet (saw). the latter is what is most important, former is the acceptable ikhthilaaf. Correct me if I'm wrong

Let's be Good I’m fed up of people generalising I think that doesn’t help. You put Salafi and Sufi in the same group but not all Sufi are the same probably not all Salafi are the same either. There is difference of practice and aqeedah among these groups. If you mean they are extreme I agree that Salafi are far right wing. But I know Sufis who are not extreme in their practice and belief maybe slightly left of centre? It is all a bit ridiculous we are Muslims at the end of the day and we ought to pray at each other’s mosques. I used to be Christian and I saw the same divisions among the churches. I won’t tolerate people who seek to divide us the ummah. As for me I am muslim and these all are my brothers abs sisters.

Immature Fitnah? if the Muslims say something is Bidah and Shirk with evidences and provide Quran and Sunnah with it then what is immature about calling an act shirk or Bidah if the correct and authentic evidences are given along with the understanding of Scholars? This is typical pure hatred for truth to be spoken. But Alhamdulillah's haram will remain haram even if the hold world is doing it.

@1:29:52 That is wrong the prophet never allowed anyone to bow tp him or stand up as veneration . The hadith is when muad ibn jabal returned from sham
In, al-Musnad (4038), and other books of ‘Hadith, there is a
Hadith that states, "When Mu’adh ibn Jabal
returned from as-Sham Area, he bowed down
before the Prophet ... who said, ‘What is this, O,
Mu’adh?’ He said, ‘O, Messenger of Allah! I saw
the people in ash-Sham bowing down before their bishops and patriarchs, and they attributed this practice to their prophets.’ He said …
‘If I were to command any person to bow
down before anyone, I will command the wife
to bow down before her husband, because of
his great right on her. O, Mu’adh! If you pass by
my grave, would you bow down?’ Mu’adh said,
‘No.’ The Prophet said, ‘True, do not do it.’"
Also, Allah’s Apostle refused to allow the
companions to stand up while he was sitting
down, even though they were standing for
prayer, so that it did not appear as though they
were imitating those who stand up for their
leaders. He also stated that those who like people to stand up for them will be among the
    people of the Fire…

I don't get how you can quote one hadith verses another hadith, he wasn't giving his opinion he was giving the opinion of rasul allah (saws) you are not a Faqih to be able to tell the difference between the situations in each hadith and why one act was not permissible while the other Rasul Allah (saws) stayed silent on. Both ahadith where talking about veneration of Rasul Allah (saws) but the difference was one Sahabah was directly with intention copying the christians in an act and Rasul Allahs (saws) reply was would you bow down to me at my grave, meaning the christians are worshiping them in that act because their Knowledge and understanding of Deen does not remove their Niyah, intention, from mixing ibadah, worship, from veneration. The other act Rasul Allah (saws) stayed silent on the matter and didn't encourage it but didn't stop it either this is because that act with a muslims intention and knowledge behind it isn't the same Ibadah as the christians who do not have our Quran and knowledge in order to make the same intention as us when doing such things and that is respect alone, like the Angels showed respect to Adam by prostrating to him. The Prophet (saws) said inahul aamalu fi niyat, every act is according to it's intention.

For all of the people who are salafi, who have posted comments, I have not heard you reference anything about common ground. You are so busy trying to prove that the brother is wrong and not focusing on how we as a Ummah can come to common ground. This division will destroy us. I say this because my son follows the the salafi minhaj, I on the other hand try to adhere to as much of Quran and the Sunnah of our Holy Nabi (pbuh) as possible and also recognize the need for the science of Tassawaf in my life. My son an I are barely speaking to each other because I ask him to listen to this lecture. He felt that I was calling him to disobedience. (Is this not extreme) As his Ummie I would never tell him to go against Allah and our Beloved Nabi (pbuh). It was only my intentions that he would gain a clearer understanding of the science of Tassawaf. Not for him to change his way, but to respect mine. At the end of the day, Allah (SWT) is our Judge and it is He who knows who truly will be successful in the end.

First thing we have to learn is the aqeedah that the Messenger pbuh and sahaba ra was on. We dont have to be salafi or sufi we just have to follow the islam taught by the Messenger pbuh. We listen and we obey him. ALLAH never made it difficult the Messenger pbuh has conveyed the message and its clear as day but it is humans who seek a different way than his way making these difficult for everyone, by these divisions, trying to invent new ways of worship etc. Whatever the Messenger pbuh gives you take it and what ever he forbids by revelation leave it. We take the haq whenever we see it and leave the baatil we call people to the way of the Messenger pbuh and the sahaba. These sects are merely division we should not label ourselves or others as anything except muslim if they are muslim but we should tell people the correct sect is that ONE the messenger pbuh and sahaba ra followed

If you ask, how should we deal with those who commit bid’ah?
    The answer is:
Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “In both cases, we have to call these people - who claim to be Muslim but who commit acts of bid’ah which may constitute kufr or may be less than that - to the truth, by explaining the truth without being hostile or condemning what they are doing. But once we know that they are too arrogant to accept the truth - for Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning), ‘And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allaah, lest they insult Allaah wrongfully without knowledge.’ [al-An’aam 6:108] - if we find out that they are stubborn and arrogant, then we should point out their falsehood, because then pointing out their falsehood becomes an obligation upon us.
With regard to boycotting them, that depends upon the bid’ah. If it is a bid’ah which constitutes kufr, then it is obligatory to boycott the person who does it. If it is of a lesser degree than that, then it is essential to examine the situation further. If something may be achieved by boycotting the person, then we do it; if no purpose will be served by it, or if it will only make him more disobedient and arrogant, then we should avoid doing that, because whatever serves no purpose, it is better not to do it. And also in principle it is haraam to boycott a believer, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘It is not permissible for a man to forsake [not speak to] his brother for more than three [days].’”
(Adapted from Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, vol. 2, p. 293)
    B. Shirk, its types and the definition of each
    Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen said:
“Shirk is of two types, major shirk which puts a person beyond the pale of Islam, and lesser shirk.”
The first type, major shirk, is “Every type of shirk which the Lawgiver described as such and which puts a person beyond the pale of his religion” - such as devoting any kind of act of worship which should be for Allaah to someone other than Allaah, such as praying to anyone other than Allaah, fasting for anyone other than Allaah or offering a sacrifice to anyone other than Allaah. It is also a form of major shirk to offer supplication (du’aa’) to anyone other than Allaah, such as calling upon the occupant of a grave or calling upon one who is absent to help one in some way in which no one is able to help except Allaah.
The second type is minor shirk, which means every kind of speech or action that Islam describes as shirk, but it does not put a person beyond the pale of Islam - such as swearing an oath by something other than Allaah, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that whoever swears an oath by something other than Allaah is guilty of kufr or shirk.”
The one who swears an oath by something other than Allaah but does not believe that anyone other than Allaah has the same greatness as Allah, is a mushrik who is guilty of lesser shirk, regardless of whether the one by whom he swore is venerated by people or not. It is not permissible to swear by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), or by the president, or by the Ka’bah, or by Jibreel, because this is shirk, but it is minor shirk which does not put a person beyond the pale of Islam.
Another type of minor shirk is showing off, which means that a person does something so that people will see it, not for the sake of Allaah.
The ways in which showing off may cancel out acts of worship are either of the following:
The first is when it is applies to an act of worship from the outset, i.e., the person is not doing that action for any reason other than showing off. In this case, the action is invalid and is rejected, because of the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah which was attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which says that Allaah said, “I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else’s sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me.”
(Narrated by Muslim, Kitaab al-Zuhd, no. 2985)
The second is when the showing off happens later on during the act of worship, i.e., the action is originally for Allaah, then showing off creeps into it. This may be one of two cases:
The first is when the person resists it - this does not harm him.
For example, a man has prayed a rak’ah, then some people come along during his second rak’ah and it occurs to him to make the rukoo’ or sujood longer, or makes himself weep, and so on. If he resists that, it does not harm him, because he is striving against this idea. But if he goes along with that, then every action which stemmed from showing off is invalid, such as if he made his standing or prostration long, or he made himself weep - all of those actions will be cancelled out. But does this invalidation extend to the entire act of worship or not?
We say that either of the following must apply:
Either the end of his act of worship was connected to the beginning (with no pause); so if the end of it is invalidated then all of it is invalidated.
This is the case with the prayer - the last part of it cannot be invalidated without the first part also being invalidated, so the whole prayer is invalid.
Or if the beginning of the action is separate from the end of it, then the first part is valid but the latter part is not. Whatever came before the showing off is valid, and what came after it is not valid.
An example of that is a man who has a hundred riyals, and gives fifty of them in charity for the sake of Allaah with a sound intention, then he gives fifty in charity for the purpose of showing off. The first fifty are accepted, and the second fifty are not accepted, because the latter is separate from the former.”

The one who judges the way you explained is not Salafi even though he claims to be. So please dont label such people as Salafi. You should say "those that claim to be salafi say so and so or do such and such". Not "some salafi this some salafi that".
The word Salafi was applied to seperate the people of ahuls sunnah from the people of innovation during the great fitna that begun arpund the time of Uthman RA death. To be Salafi is to follow the Quran the sunnah and the companions.
Not to be judgmental but also not to unite under the wrong methodology.
We should unite under the quran and sunnah. Bring Haqq to the confused Ummah.

There are nothing you will use to make your argument. You should listen to Ibn sireen yourself. What you have is laymen Muslims claiming to have the right to do ijtihad and self interpretation of the texts when in reality only a scholar can . Also the rejection of the four imams and their madhabs. So yes I agree it is important where you take knowledge from. But I for one do not take it from al-Albani and Ibnutheimeen and bin baz. well check the arabic meaning on the word sunni and it will be clear, "In the beginning" there was the ummah, then the shia decided to form their group and they called it shia which literally means partisans, or those who split from the group, the remainder of the ummah then called themselves sunni or those who stayed on the sunnah, all you have to do is think about the words, you are seriously stuck on the labels and can't see past your politics.
In sunni islam there are four schools of legal theory, if you have studied at any university then you know science is technical and complex, in islam we have four schools of law.
If i wanted to simplify the explanation, i would say imam Ali was Hanafi, the companions who lived in madina are Maliki, and the Shafii and hanbali madhhabs are a mix of both the companions of madina and Iraq, so in that case what the hell is a salafi?
What am i referring to, i am referring to the opinions that Imam Abu hanifa, Malik, Shaffi and Ahmad followed, they then looked into the opinions of the companions and derived the methods by which the companions come up with their opinions and from that the science of Usul al Fiqh was born that every legal system on earth today relies on, and which translates as the legal principles of Islamic law. The four madhhabs agree on about 75% of these principles (Usul) and have differences on about 25%.
These are the madhhab of Fiqh Law, But as Jibril (as) defined Islam in the hadith of Jibril recorded by both Bukhari and Muslim and it is agreed upon, Our Deen consists of four areas of knowledge, Islam (which Fiqh comes under), Iman (which Aqeedah comes under), Ihsan (which tasawwuf comes under) and signs of the hour (which remembrance of death and the afterlife comes under).
The ulluma went through these four areas of knowledge in Islam and codified the knowledge in them and developed sciences, like the modern sciences you know and rely upon, in order to study our Deen with accuracy.
So there are also madhhabs in Aqeedah like Maturidi, Tahawi and Ashari.
Calling any one of these madhhabs a sect is like calling physics a sect that opposes the sect of chemistry, does that make sense to you?
If you want more clarity then you have to look at it in depth.
This why it is ridiculous that a person says either salafi islam or sufi islam its completely idiotic because it is saying Ihsan vs Islam vs Iman pick one you can't choose them all. the fact is salafi's are a fiqh based group and sufi's are a Ihsan based group, they have nothing to do with each other.
The haram and halal in Islam is in the hands of Fiqh and the madhhabs and has always been that way. Salafi fiqh is based on the Hanbali madhhab while sufi's can be either of the four madhhabs including Hanbali.
So a shaykh can be Hanafi in Fiqh, Maturidi in Aqeedah and Qadiri in Tasawwuf.
Ibn Taymiyah was Hanbali in Fiqh and Qadiri in tasawwuf, he wrote extensively on it, his major work majmul al fatawa, volume 11 is entitled tasawwuf.
All you have to do is check history and the facts and don't believe the first thing you read it may come from a person who hasn't studied in depth but only a little.

    • @riyadharun9389
      @riyadharun9389 6 років тому +3

Yes, that's entirely correct. The tools we invent have no impact on our akhirah unless we either use them for good/bad or they were expressly invented for the purpose of worship.
The foundation of the debate on bid'ah is the hadith:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever introduces a good practice that is followed, he will receive its reward and a reward equivalent to that of those who follow it, without that detracting from their reward in their slightest. And whoever introduces a bad practice that is followed, he will receive its sin and a burden of sin equivalent to that of those who follow it, without that detracting from their burden in the slightest.'"
I saw someone explain that the best interpretation for this hadith is "anyone who revives a dead sunnah" rather than "anyone who starts something good"; the reason being is that Muhammad (s.a.w.) ave the companions (r.a.) completed and mastered the deen, so it's only possible to revive a dead sunnah as creating a new one is impossible.
The issue with this is that people think this means anything we "perceive" as good is halal; the issue with bid'ah "hasan" and any other classification of "halal" bid'ah is the opinion of many internationally renowned Ulema in that Muhammad (s.a.w.) was the balance and he was perfect, so doing anything he didn't do is suggesting that he made mistakes, was ignorant of the deen, or that someone is claiming to know more than him (s.a.w.) or claiming prophethood.
There's only one kind of bid'ah, the haram kind.

It is sufficient for the believer to accept & believe whatever Allah has said about himself without going deep into the verses of the Muthashabihat (verses in which only Allah knows the true meaning). However the Hizbis (those with a Cult mentality) have created their own set of principles of beliefs which they term as "Aqeedah" which they use to divide & attack the rest of the Ummah. These beliefs are based solely upon theological differences of opinion amongst the Scholars, which are not necessary for the lay person to delve deeply into because they are differences of opinion based upon on the verses of the Muthashabihat. They deem anyone who does not believe in the same theological beliefs of their scholars regarding these verses of Muthashabihat that they are out of the fold of Islam. SubhanAllah.
They call themselves big words like "People of Sunnah" & handpick certain Hadith with which they use to create divisions but ignore those that call for mercy & unity solely because they differ on the opinion of the scholars they follow on the verses of the Muthashabihat.
Wake up oh Ummah. These are the very people who are silent about the mass slaughter & forced starvation of Muslims in Yemen by the treacherous regime whom they blindly defend even though they have clearly sided with the disbelievers in unjustly slaughtering innocent Muslims. The very people who are silent about the regime they defend who are inviting evil practices and fitnah to spread across the holy lands. These very people proclaim to be of the people of the "Sunnah" & that they follow the way of the "Salaf". The true people of Sunnah & the Salaf would never behave as they do. It is easy to claim such things but the reality is very far from the truth.
You only have to see the way these people behave in their arrogant and harsh approach towards others & are highly intolerant to valid differences of opinion amongst the scholars. They make it a habit to attack other Muslims including scholars & their tongues are very sharp when it comes to making Takfir upon another believer.
They have made theological differences of opinion of the scholars regarding verses of Muthashabihat as "fundamental" aspects of Aqeedah so as to completely block & prevent unity & in order to move away from the rest of the Ummah whom they deem as being out of the fold of Ahlus Sunnah.
They have an inferiority complex called Saved Sect Syndrome (SSS) and it's a very debilitating disease of the heart.
May Allah save us from those who divide the Ummah. Ameen

Saying you should choose between Salafi and Sufi is like saying should you do what the Quran says or not. Salafi is a Fiqh based group based on the teachings of the Hanbali madhhab, Sufi or Tassawwuf is the science of Ihsan in Islam which is mentioned in the Quran in Surah shams (91), Qad Aflha man Zakaha, the one who purifies it succeeds. So do you want to choose between Fiqh or Ihsan, it is an idiotic choice. The Ullumah gathered all that Allah said about Purifying the self and created the science of Tassawwuf, just like they gathered all that Allah said about the Laws of Islam and created the science of Fiqh and they gathered all the Knowledge regarding Iman and created the science of Aqeedah.
Saying either of them is not from islam is Kufr, the Issue is which fiqh ruling is correct and which isn't not which one of the two groups is muslim or not because that is just confused. The Ulluma can be Shafii in Fiqh, Maturidi in Aqeedah and Shadhilli in Tassawwuf at the same time, Jibril (hs) Said this is how Knowledge in the Deen is Divided, Islam which is Fiqh, Iman which is Aqeedah and Ihsan which is Tassawwuf, Do a search for the Hadith of Jibril recorded by both Muslim and Bukhari, the Hadith occurred 86 days before the prophets (saws) death and at the end of the Hadith rasul allah (saws) said this is Jibril who came to teach you your Deen.
These sciences deal with the different types of knowledge in Islam, the Salafi's dont deal with the same subject as Tasawwuf they talk about fiqh, it is the Madhhabs that deal with the Haram and Halal in Islam not the Ullumah of Tassawwuf.
So they should be arguing with the Ullumah of the Madhabs about whether something is permissible in Law not the Ullumah of Tassawwuf who are dealing with the diseases of the Nafs,in our Deen it isn't the Place of a Shaykh of Tassawwuf to decide Haram and Halal that is the Place for a Mujtahid in the Madhahab of Fiqh, this is why people are confused over this issue they don't even know who to ask about these matters.
When you ask a Scholar of Tassawwuf regarding the Haram or Halal of a Matter he is quoting the Opinion of the Fiqh Madhhab he Follows, Shafii, Hanafi, Maliki or Hanbali, not his Tariqah in Tassawwuf which only deals with purifying the self of bad Qualities.

You used the key word tassawuf, which is worlds apart from the concept of Islamic mysticism known as Sufism that the Deobandi movement actually opposed and is basically not Islam. Tassawuf is just another component of Islam as you mentioned, like you I don't see how people are making a divide with it.

Gabriel Light loool salafiyah is not based on just imam Ahmad ibn hanbals teachings. Salafi is the following the way of the prophet sallahu Alayhi wa Salam and his companions through the first 3 generations (includes the 4 imams - hanafi,Shari,Maliki, hanbali).

Al-Shaykh Muhammad Nasir al-Deen al-Albani said in Al-Silsilat al-Da’eefah (1/110), where he quotes the (weak) hadeeth “What a good reminder is the subhah [masbahah],”
“In my view, the meaning of this hadeeth is invalid for a number of reasons:
Firstly, the subhah [masbahah] is bid’ah and was not known at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It happened after that, so how could he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) have encouraged his Sahabah to do something that was unknown to them? The evidence for what I have said is the report narrated by Ibn Waddah in Al-Bid’ wa’l-Nahy ‘anha from al-Salt ibn Bahram, who said: ‘Ibn Mas’ood passed by a woman who had a [masbahah] with which she was making tasbeeh, and he broke it and threw it aside, then he passed by a man who was making tasbeeh with pebbles, and he kicked him then said, “You think you are better than the Sahabah, but you are following unjustified bid’ah! You think you have more knowledge than the Companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)!”’ Its isnad (chain of transmission) is saheeh (authentic) to al-Salt, who is one of the trustworthy (thiqah) followers of the Tabi’een (Successors).
Secondly, it goes against the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) counting the tasbeeh on his right hand.’”
He also said (1/117): “If there is only one bad thing about the masbahah, which is that it takes the place of the Sunnah of counting on the fingers, even though all are agreed that counting on the fingers is preferable, then that is bad enough. How rarely I see people counting their tasbeeh on their fingers!
Moreover, people have invented so many sophisticated ways of following this bid’ah, so you see the followers of one of the [Sufi] tareeqahs (orders) wearing the masbahah around their necks! Or some of them counting with the beads whilst talking or listening to you! Or another one - the like of whom I have not seen for some time - riding his bicycle through a street crowded with people, with the masbahah in one of his hands! They are showing the people that they are not distracted from the remembrance of Allah for even an instant, but in many cases this bid’ah is a cause of their neglecting what is obligatory (wajib). It has happened many times - to others as well as myself - that when I greet one of these people with salam, they answer only by waving and not by saying the words of the greeting. The bad results of this bid’ah are innumerable, and no one can say it better than the poet:
‘All goodness is in following that which went before (the salaf)
All badness is in the innovations of those who came later.’”
    And Allah knows best.

This video is very good. It's very disturbing when you're discovering the deen to see people who are more knowledgeable than you and who act really silly and spend so much time to basically spit at other muslims from an opposite school, vice-versa.
Unfortunately, I think that as it is, considering the burning title of the video, some of our brothers won't spend 1h36min before letting themselves go and spit at their opposite kind of thought.

For example with teens and young adults he likes to throw in a few jokes here and there to engage the youngsters and keep them listening to the lecture. sufiism has been corrupted long time ago.
proper word and method is tazkiya which is mentioned in the Quran.

Parvez Khan What are you talking about? Making empty blanket statements is not "proof", it's called an empty assertion. Ibn Al-Jawzi did no such thing. He addressed some pseudo-Sufis who were already being addressed by orthodox and traditional Muslims who happen to follow one of the four madhaib AND pass down tassawwuf as a legitimate and traditional science. Before uttering nonsense like, "sufism has been corrupted long time ago", provide evidence, because ignorant statements like these are going to be held accountable. The book "The Path to Perfection", for instance, illustrates what is orthodox Tassawwuf, and what is deviant pseud-Sufism. Same with the book, "The Inseparability of Shariah and Tariqa".

well ibn jawzi refuted some groups of sufis since they deviated from the true methodology of tazkiya and some groups innovated.
also some sufi tafsirs such as ibn arabi's have strange interpretations and also have been refuted by azhari and salafi scholars.

no human being is infallible meaning we can not blind follow any human being except from the prophet of allah SAW, in aqeedah there is one aqeedah upon which him and his companions were all agreeing upon, with issues from fiqh you follow the correct opinion all four imams where great imams rahimullah but some made mistakes as they are human beings and the sone of adam makes mistakes. too add to that it means that the daleel may be with one imam over the other you can not cherry pick my imam says this so i will stick by it, imam ash shafi rahimullah had said the saheeh hadith is my manhaj, imam abu hanifah had said if you should find an opinion of mind contradicting the qur'an and sunnah throw my opnion on the wall. brothers and sisters in al islam, if a person is a simple person ignorant in knowledge he should follow a madhab BUT also follow them in aqeedah for they had aqeedah of the prophet SAW, but if a person is a person of knowledge is able to distinguish saheeh from daif or truth from falsehood he must not appoint him self t to a specific madhab unless it be the madhab of rasulullah SAW, and yes we are all muslim that is the title we have but the nabi SAW said that the jews had split in to 71 sect the christians 72 and the muslims will split into 73 all are in the hell fire except for 1 the Companions RA had asked who are they ya rasulullah he replied they are the ones upon the religion which i and my companions are upon today, you see ikhwane the religion was complete he SAW had set the religion out for us too follow he is our man to follow but insha'Allah if you follow a madhab beacause you are a simple persson then no problem but remember in the grave you will be asked who is your prophet and who did you follow. and Allah knows best.

    • @raeesrahman1250
      @raeesrahman1250 10 років тому

Brother, you have tried but need to go more into the depth. Aqeedah & Fiqh are two different part one dealing with belief and another with action.
So regarding fiqh there was no need of any Madhabs during the time of Rasool (S) because they had the teacher infront of them and immediately the doubts can be clarified. But after Rasool (S) the Ummah had to get the doubts clarified from the Sahaba (obviously as they are the direct students of Rasool (S) ). Next generation they had to depend on those who learned from the Sahaba. During this period the need of compilation of Fiqh required and great Imams rose according to the situation (all 04 Madhab Imams came during these period from 80 to 241 Hijri). After them only we have great Hadith Scholars (known as Kutub al-Sittah during 194 to 303) but instead of doing Ijtihad they followed either of the 4 Madhab. So i don't see any logic to your view, either you should say you have more knowledge that these Kutub al-Sittah or should have the commonsense to understand even these great hadith scholars didn't find any contradiction to Qur'an & Sunnah to throw their opinion.
Now about the Madhab Imams they are not just simply giving their opinion, they are qualified to pass the opinion. The last Imam Hanbal (R) had knowledge of morethan a million hadith (so just think how much would the earlier 3 imams would have) and Imam Hanbal also put a cap to those who what to do Ijtihad must have atleast have knowledge of 400 thousand. Today we don't even have 100 Thousand hadith but challenging the stars up in the sky.
You will not find a single scholar after these 04 Madhab Imams who have not followed them. So this is the Ijma of the Muslim Ummah whom we follow....
About Aqeedah we don't have any difference but when Khawarij, Mu'tazilite and lot of other theologies came with the influence of Greek ideology it was required to be destroyed to safe guard the Muslim Theology (Aqeedah). Allah choose great Imams like Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Ash'ari & Abu Mansur Maturidi who destroyed all other Aqeedah and established understanding of Aqeedah from Quran & Sunnah.
So for us Allah has made it very simple to follow either of the 04 Madhabs & either of the 02 Aqeedah which was followed by all Muslims throughout the world. Unless a small group named themselves as Salafi (Wahabi) who confused Muslim Ummah with their Fitna.
May Allah guide us to the truth and open our hearts to understand his religion better.....

Raees Rahman hasan al ashari had the wrong aqeedah and he had repented to allah, for he refuted his names and attributes. the prophet was not ashari in his aqeeda nor were any of the salaf from the three best generations.

    • @raeesrahman1250
      @raeesrahman1250 10 років тому +1

kusheris back Imam Ashari was a student and adopted son of a Mutazili teacher but he went on to became the great Imam's of Aqeedah. He taught to understand aqeedah from Quran & Sunnah and he was the one who destroyed all other aqeedah influenced by Greek ideologies.
Have some commonsense before asking such silly questions like Prophet was not Ashari in his Aqeeda, he taught others from studying Rasool (S) so how will Rasool (S) follow him. Lucky you didn't say Bukhari & Muslim was not read by Rasool. You should understand Rasool can't follow Ashari but Ashari has followed Rasool, so both Aqeedah are same. If you want to make some point then you should figure out if some scholars has opposed him but you will find all scholars after him either following him or accepting him. Also he is from the three best generations.

    • @111afrim

Do you know that all of the 4 imams had different aqeedah than abu hasan al ashari?

    • @raeesrahman1250
      @raeesrahman1250 10 років тому

kusheris back Who said it and can you prove it with evidence ! ! !
The history is very clear that Ahlus Sunnah’s Aqeedah was same during the time of 4 Madhhab and even earlier (from Rasool to Sahaba, from Sahaba to Tabieen and from Tabieen to Taba-al-Tabieen).
But when wrong Aqeedah kept on increasing (like Muʿtazilah, Jahmiyyah, Qadriyah, Jabriyah, Kharijite etc) the need arose to compile the right Aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah, which was done during the time of Imam Ashari & Maturidi. So it was named after them but both these Aqeedah was same Aqeedah of all Salaf & Khalaf (including 4 Imams of Madhhab).

Salafi manhaj is a fantasy that uses slogans to attract people but has no substance behind its words because it isn't one of the Madhabs of islam. the salafis haven't produced a single mujtahid who did anything for islam so they are not qualified to comment on any fiqh or Aqeedah in Islam.

what is the salafi salih man-haj, reading the quran and ahadith doesn't make you one of the salaf or teach you the proper understanding of the salaf, what you said sounded like the salafi sect slogan which is why i thought it was that.
The arabic language has changed since the time of the salaf so you can't just read Quran and Ahadith for your self and expect to understand the same things the salaf did from it, this is called the morphology of language and you have to be qualified to understand it properly, so then what kind of advice are you giving?

    • @mohamedotaku7161

Ibn Uthaimeen(r.a.) said that there is a difference betweer the Salasfi salih(the first three generation of muslim) and the Sect Called Salafiyoon. He said dont call your self a "Salafi" but rather call your self a follower of the "Salafus Salih". the Salafus Salih are Muhammmad and the sahaba and then the Tabi'een and the At-ba'u Tabi'een. The first three generations of muslim. understood?

    • @gabriellight1273
      @gabriellight1273 10 років тому +5

Mohamed Otaku thats a slogan, you haven't actually solved how you follow salaf al salih, The Quran is the words of Allah the Ahadith are the words of Rasul Allah (saws), i don't see any major works on the words of salaf al salih around do you? it would entail their interpretation of the Quran and the words of Rasul Allah (saws) and the closest thing i have seen to that is the translation of Tanwir al miqbas min Tafsir Ibn Abbas. Just because you read the quran and Ahadith doesn't mean your interpretation will be the same as the salaf al salih.

It is generally accepted that we have 2 sallama after any salah but i am surrounded with some sufis who greatly believe that the accepted way of sallama by Allah is just 1 which is only to the right shoulder with a loud and long "Assalaaaaaaaaaaaamu'alaykkum" with a heavy bass ending "kkkum". I am not too versed in the deen but i love your sermon, it is filled with so much light, it is so pure and respects humanity. Jazakummullahu khairan. I wish i can have someone like your to serve under so as to be stronger and better in the deen. In sha Allah.

Imagine going through every action and training people to identify what level of thinking could make it into an innovation or not. This Scholar does good. Very good and his message is clear. However reality is something else. It is best to class the act as a bidah since at has transformed from something innocent into something that the majority of people doing it consider part of the deen. We are in a place in time where people have made many things part of the deen. Allah knows best.

Assalamualaikum Sheik. Please advise. What if I never missed my sunnat with the intention of getting more sawaabs ? Is it bidah?

It's not a bidah to always do sunnah so long as you know it is not fardh
