NOTE ON SCREEN TIME OUT Thanks to some viewers it seems Bluetti does have a screen time out setting BUT they don’t label it correctly. In general settings they have something labeled auto sleep which normally pertains to the unit itself going to sleep. It isn’t labeled screen or display. I’ve sent Bluetti feedback, hopefully they will rename the setting to screen or display time out but look for auto sleep and you can adjust the screen time out.
Yes, seen that in other videos and it is poorly named. I hope your (and others?) feedback helps "push" them to update/fix this. Thks for giving them the feedback!
Awaiting my AC200L delivery. I purchased it prior to viewing this detailed check out. I think all my future questions were answered in this video. One of the most informative and understandable presentations You can ask for Thanks.
Thanks for the video. I would love a test in a van, in the summer. When the sun beats in the van. Love to see have many time the Bluetti kicks in with the fridge n freezer!
This is a very fine video. You broke things down and made them easy for simpletons to understand. One of the best I have watched. I was overcome with tiers when I saw your memorial to your best friend BROOKLYN. The reason is, my best friend TUCKER, looked exactly like yours. A flood of emotions came back. There is a reason they are called DOG. Backwards for GOD. Unconditional love. Dogs leave footprints all over your heart forever. Thank you for sharing.
i have the EB3A and the AC 180 but soon i will get the AC200L to complete my needs. in the garage we have a 20cufeet refrigerator/freezer 2 doors, and a cube 7 cu in freezer. my ac180 in case of power failure can run the refrigirator at the least 14 hours. in the Kitchen we have a vertical freezer and a 2 door hisense refrigirator freezer. this is why i want to get the AC 200L for those 2 appliances in the kitchen in case of power failure. I was looking to buy the AC180P with 1440wh It would do the job also but the ac200lL gives 2048WH . I like the bluetti good garanty. I wait for the coming sales near christmas to perchaser the ac200L it will be used in the garage because of the weight and the ac180 in the kitchen. enjoyed your review thanks
I just got lucky on Amazon primedays got AC200L with 200w solar panel for $1150. This is my first power station & panel, been wanting one for years. I think I made a good choice....
I figured out the issue. They don’t use the word display or screen in the settings, they have it under auto sleep which normally applies to the unit. I already contacted them and asked them if they can update the settings to actually say display or screen settings.
I enjoyed watching your video, when l first seen how long your test was, l wasn't too sure if i wanted to sit there that long, but l was interested, that you highlighted all the test you that you were going to do, which caught my attention. After watching your demonstration, you explained it all so well l actually viewed the whole demonstration, so hats off to you , it was great. L was not sure if the product would suit my needs but you explained from the very start off your wants and needs. Thank you for a great tutorial it probably has been the best l have seen and understood in layman terms. Well done, hope to see more of you, gave you a thumbs up , l have subscribed also. i do have an apc battery backup so i can hook anything to that, i have a desktop computer and tbh, im thinking of getting this or the ac180 which is 1152 WH cause im on my desktop computer all the time. this is a really must buy or the other powerbank ac180 thinking of getting that.
Just be aware of data is writing to the hard drive and power goes out you might lose data, I don't think the drive will be damaged. Not an expert with that
I want to see 5 or 6 200w panels wired in series to the AC200L. Within the specs of coarse. I've read through some comments that the unit is having issues with their solar input claims. Can't seem to find a video where anybody puts this thing to the solar claims test.
I agree wholeheartedly with you - I have also done lots of reviews of products and I would also Not sign such a contract! What have the got to be afraid of if they have a good product?? I am looking to purchase a portable power station like the AC200L and I am now thinking of all the positive reviews I have watched and thinking- Were they genuine? That is so sad and now I am thinking that I may have to go for another brand!! Thank you for being honest and upfront. I want a Power station to power a CPAP machine for at least three nights and a microwave for at least 30 minutes a day for 2 to 3 days maybe and charge My Wife and my phones. Which do you recommend? Mine would be in our Motorhome and I will get solar panels fitted to help keep it charged up.
Another option would be the Ecoflow delta 2 max, it’s also expandable so you can add more batteries ua-cam.com/video/6JfnpATpC_U/v-deo.htmlsi=7KRWw85Rt6X_ua1d
I love your videos on power stations. Can you possibly do a video on the Bluetti ac180 power station please. They currently have it on sale for $900 and it comes with a 200 watt solar panel. That seems like a great deal!
Thanks so much buddy I have to say I was working on that but then they had me switch and work on another video. It really is a good value if you have any questions specifically let me know and I'll definitely help
Thank you for this very informative video. I learned a lot by watching your tutorial on the AC200L. My unit came with Bluetti 350W solar panels. Will the extension cords in the link description work with them? I'm also getting the disconnecting tool and solar gauge you recommended to help your channel. Thanks again.
Well done man. I am pretty familiar with solar generators/power stations. Have event built a few of my own, but I like how you break it down in simple terms for people that are new to this.
@@TechMadeEzy Yeah they're pretty great, especially now since the price is coming down quite a bit. I want to try the new Anker ones. They seem promising.
im wondering if you have done the ac180 bluetti if you have i would like to see a review on it, i dont know if its on your channel, if it is, i'll search it up.

Good review! The real world device testing was quite well done. While the AC200L does have "pass though charging", your test actually showed the device operating in UPS mode. You didn't cover the UPS modes at all or why they are different, but that bit is kind of important. The UPS mode allows the battery to it effevtively "on a shelf" instead of being used on all the time. The only time you'll see the AC200L using actual pass though charging is when the input power is from DC (solar) or the output power is greater than the set (in the app) charging rate. The UPS modes are a major new feature of the AC200L over the AC200Max. That said, it might be best for a followup or more detailed video.
Thanks for the back and forth on your comments. I appreciate both of your channels, so it is like a double bonus when I get to read comments you make to each other 👍👏
Best review on UA-cam BY FAR! Question. When you plugged the solar panel in you were getting about 90 watts. Your refrigerator was pulling about that amount when the compressor was on. With that being said if you did pass through could you essentially run the refrigerator for days on end if the sun was strong?
Hi, Another question for you, in hopes that you can shed some light on what I see as an issue. Bluetti Customer Service and Tech Support. THERE IS NONE!!!!! Have you had any experience regarding this with Bluetti. They have an amazing product, for me an AC 200 L, however as said above, no help. What is your experience? Thanks, Chris
So far I'm in this video 10 minutes and I can say that this guy has bad information, a older LED TV uses 34 watts, a 50 inch 4K TV uses 100 watts, he is supposed to talking about the 200L limits, my Bluetti EB3A can run my 50 inch 4K easily.

the new display looks familiar :D the old display on the ac200P really needed a replace, almost impossible to read in day/sunlight

We plugged in a T.R.A.P.-AC into one of the outlets to protect the 200L from CME, EMP, lightning.
We have both the 200max and 200L.
You need to go into the settings to change TURBO mode to allow it to charge at 20Amps. Then do another charge test.

Thanks for putting in the fridge spec, my fridge draws alot more and i only get about 20 hours, even less in the summer.....

What Power stations do you recommend to charge an EV (Tesla) at 115 or 240V? Thanks and keep up the great work!
I wouldn't depend on these type 'portable' power unit. You are better off getting a power wall.
You would have to spend a pretty penny, and have solar. Check out the Tesla power wall, but you’re also gonna need solar. I would recommend it.
