Sunflower oil is actually really bad for you. Seed oils I recently found out contribute to macular degeneration of the eyes. Sunflower seeds in themselves are not bad but the way they have to extract the oil from seeds is very detrimental to health when consumed. I have read palm oil is not bad and consume it without issue personally.
It’s bad for the environment and it has problems when being heated. Contaminant Risk A study related to the preparation of palm oil for use in processed foods linked the oil to a potentially cancer-causing contaminant but only if the oil is heated to a very high temperature of 200 degrees Celsius or 392 degrees Fahrenheit.
May Lead to Inflammation While an oil like olive oil has anti-inflammatory properties, palm oil can potentially increase inflammation because of its SFA content. Research has shown an association between SFAs and higher inflammation.11
I used to think “natural” flavors were okay as they were “natural” but recently Discovered NOT good really good for us. Look for the raal food like, orange peel, vanilla bean, etc “The original source of natural flavors must be plant or animal material. However, natural flavors can be highly processed and contain many chemical additives.”
in one of the tj's item says "(orange oil)" after natural flavors. Honestly I feel like the Trader Joe's food try to hide their seasoning in some of the ingredient list and just list "natural flavors". After talking to one of the employees, I think trader joe's mostly use good ingredient and avoid chemical additives. However, with other brand, natural flavors may be bad bad ingredients.
My store was so overwhelming yesterday. They had the Thanksgiving items and the Christmas items. I ended up buying 66 items! I had a good excuse… I had COVID so I hadn’t gone there for awhile. I tried to concentrate on produce and protein but of course I had to get my snacks… Rosemary nuts, stuffing chips, the popcorn and the large chocolate coins. Some I’m gifting.
Well, I love the chocolate dipped danish almond pastries. I ate all six in one week, usually I have some self-control but not this time🫢 and I agree the chicken kettle soup is perfect. You can add so many vegetables. I doctored it up with more carrots, spinach, parsnips, cabbage and matzoh balls. Hanukkah is coming up and it makes it so easy and healthy. Thanks again for taking the time to explain the ingredients❤
thank you so much for watching! Haha recently I havent been good with my eating either lol I think it is all the new holiday food. They are mostly seasonal and limited editions so i didnt want to miss out lol!
The way your show and tell us the ingredients is why I love your videos. I make our family food purchases based on this information. I’m surprised people don’t shop off the ingredients. Your my favorite Trader Joe shop with me! Please don’t change. Love it
7:29 - Trader Joe’s Crunchy Chili Cranberry, Orange, & Onion is a simply constructed (yet deliciously complex) condiment that’s ideal for serving over turkey, pork roast, prime rib, and many other staples of the Thanksgiving and Holiday seasons. Building off of the savory, lightly spicy profile of our original Crunchy Chili Onion, this version introduces the bold, bright, and delightfully tart elements of dried Cranberry and Orange oil, and swaps out the garlic for sweet and rich brown sugar. It pairs exquisitely well with all kinds of proteins, adds some much-needed crunch and rich, citric zing when tossed with roasted carrots or sweet potatoes, and provides a particularly pronounced mix of sweet and savory when spooned over a creamy cheese, like baked brie or a piece of crostini covered in Unexpected Cheddar Cheese Spread.
Can uplsstop tell everyone about the salt and the ingredients. I think people know about that theycan read. Trade trade food is very good. Also they ingredients are pretty good thank u. For ur haul
Ingredients ARE important these days. There’s so many unhealthy things that are being added to foods that can over time, cause inflammation (arthritis) and hardening of the arteries. Bad oils are the main cause, because they are highly processed, man made and not natural.
Thank you for talking about the ingredients for each product and what to look out for ❤
thank you so much for watching and your support :)

If I want nutrition advice, it won’t be from you
Cannot believe you cannot pronounce Toffee. NOT ‘toe fee’, as well as a few other things you should know.
Please show less about ingredients and calories, and more on products themselves
