That's not normal..
It's an ocular effect when you get dizzy, not an effect of actually physically spinning. So why they said "that's not how it works" I was confused... something i'd expect Michael to know. But yeah... exactly how it works actually.

Mama Yvonne Soy Sauce Chicken:
- Add Sugar to a stock pot (and Water?)
- Add Soy Sauce and 5 spice seasoning
- Add the chicken
The chicken needs to be submerged so it can soak in the soy sauce sugar mixture while it’s being cooked
Boil till chicken is done, enjoy.
Most important step:
- feel like becoming your mom/a responsible adult
Other things you could add to the pot:
- Ginger
- scallions
- wine (rose or shaoxing, cook the alcohol off)
- I heard star anise is great

However, the spinning motion can cause something similar to motion sickness. Probably because our eyes are unable to focus onto a point since all points are moving.
