Try a surgeon's knot. That is instead of passing one cord over the other once, do it twice then proceed, doubling the wrap twice again completing the knot. It is easier to keep it tight while putting in the second set of passes and stays in. Works on shoelaces too. Thank you for these vids.

I know it a old video but if someone e know where or how to make the center angled board support. We used to have a cut out board like arm bustles and tied off round board with hackles in it for center board spreader two holes in creek if back board one long shoe lace tied off back of bustle board. Times changed I Guess. Thx
