Get ready to see Laura Osnes and Corey Cott like you've never seen them before. In Paper Mill Playhouse's world-premiere musical The Bandstand, the pair will take on roles wildly different from those they've had on Broadway. Cott plays Donny, a World War II vet who returns home from the frontlines mentally scarred after losing his best friend, and he decides to enter a songwriting competition that could bring him fame and fortune. Osnes takes on the role Julia, the war widow of Donny's pal. She joins forces with the aspiring tunesmith to create unbeatable melodies. Watch as they tackle Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor's torchy, swingin' score at a recent press event.

God, I saw this show last month and it was incredible. Very underrated, and I'm still waiting for the cast album to drop. I may have been the only one in my 8th grade class that actually liked the show's music a lot, but I have very classic tastes. Cmon, I need this cast recording!
