Gerber Bushcraft Axe - Hurricane Gear Test

Gerber says this survival axe's main purposes are starting fire and building shelter but I think this will help in hurricane preparedness too. Did I mention it has some concealed water resistant storage?

A slow burn candle and a lighter in those compartments make fire easier in a storm situation and give you continued light to see in situations cut your way out of confined space 😮

My handle broke or split, cracked making it useless. Less than 2 years old and not used that much compared to other axes I own. Gerber never responded to warranty enquire or claim. Had one of plastic composite handle Fiskar axes that gets abused left in the weather rarely shown any love and that is the axe I would tell people to buy. Or the cold steel trail boss axe.
