What he’s referring to as a threat is Trump plan to change the whole system to form an autocracy with Trump at the head of that table. This is the main principle the founding fathers established the nation against. The idea that one man is above the law. What you should pay attention to is to is project 2025 and what’s happening in the RNC right now. I’ve walked military members through all the proof and unfortunately how it normally ends is the person dropping the patriotic act and admitting to being ok with that as long as it’s their preferred side taking over. The values you espouse are wonderful, but I do wonder if you saw all the proof would you stick to those values or would you end up siding with a fascistic movement that’s absolutely anti American instead.

The threat he’s referring to is fascism and pursuit of turning the nation into an autocracy. Trump and his people have already admitted this is their aim. If it was actually America first in the way you believe that would be fine. Not much different from the same conservative values republicans have espoused for decades. But not only is that not what the movement is about but in fact the opposite.

Yes, Americans are hurting and suffering, and Biden doesn’t care. He’s too busy sending millions of dollars to other countries, to help THEIR citizens with food, shelter, and enforcing THEIR borders. In his SOTU speech last week, he spoke 40 some minutes before he even mentioned the United States. He was too busy talking about Ukraine, Russia, lying about our economy, lying about how many jobs he has created over the last 3 years. He says he has created over 14 million jobs, which is a lie. The majority of those 14 million jobs were jobs that were recovered after the pandemic. These were jobs that people went back to once lockdowns were over, and people went back to their jobs. This has been debunked many, many times, but Biden keeps saying it. Actually, his speech writers know that Biden creating 14 million new jobs is a lie, yet they keep including it in his speeches. He also keeps saying that Republicans want to get rid of Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. He said this in his SOTU speech last year, and he was called out on it from Republican Congress members in the crowd. Then he changed his tune and walked back what he said. Every single sentence that comes out of his mouth is a lie. I don’t think he even knows what’s true and what’s false, anymore. I couldn’t even make it through half of his speech. I had to turn it off because I was getting so angry. I was literally yelling at him on my tv!

I saw him speak at my college years ago and he was great. He encouraged questions from people who don't agree with him and answered those questions with empathy and honesty. He was the one behind the Newsom recall. I will trust him for the rest of my life.
