OMG, they're all so CUTE! And the fact that they redesigned the bintuwrong is proof that Frontier really cares about the fans. And is it just me, or does the tapir look better than in the screenshot? Reskin or not, the tapirs look great! And so does everyone else! Even the bintuwrong, while innacurate at first, still looks kinda cute, but I'm still glad they changed it. Overall, great DLC.
I love how most of the animals in this pack are on the smaller side, The little guys tend to get rather neglected in zoo sims which is a real shame as you definitely need the smaller exhibits to make a zoo feel fleshed out and realistic.Also find you can generally do much more interesting things design wise with less space needed.
I know it's pedantic, but it kinda pisses me off that for the range map of the north Sulawesi babi rusa, Frontier managed to completely miss Sulawesi, the large, sorta K-shaped island west of the ones they highlighted, and the only island where this species actually lives.

The one that gets to me is the Spotted Hyena, the population is listed as 5,000 - 14,000 which would be correct for the Striped Hyena, but the Spotted Hyena is estimated to be between 27,000 - 47,000 in total.

I feel like the fur shaders on these animals is a lot better in general, especially on the Proboscis monkey and clouded leopard, the fur seems a lot more toned down than other animals, which is great. Also, Malayan Tapir is my favourite animal from this pack, I love them.
I love that who ever was in charge of texturing the leaf insect decided THIS is what they were going to pop off on. Cat? No, to many Monkey or pig? No, to big Little leaf shaped bug? Yes, my precious. My magnetic baby. I will pour my all into your being so only the few may enjoy you. No one may love you the way I do, but I will know that you have been given the most love that I can possibly give.
One thing Planet Zoo needs: smaller terrariums. Maybe a shelf containing several enclosures, or just individual miniature exhibits. Something smaller would definitely make the smaller creatures more visible and exciting. With that, I would highly recommend an animal pack of 10 - 20 different small creatures.
Yeah, the current exhibits are perfect for iguanas and anacondas, but are over sized for most of the animals and stupidly big for most of the insects and and poison dart frogs

Aquatic pack offered not only very nice flexicolour pieces but also 2 game changing animals (super popular in many zoos, amazing deep diving animations, interesting habitat design ideas such as underwater viewing gallery etc.). SE Asia animal pack introduced a few rescaled and reskinned animals (another bear, another tapir, another wolf-like, another jaguar sized cat, another pig, another mid-size monkey) maybe only binturong is a really fresh design with very cool upside-down hanging animation. The big advantage is bonus for sharing habitat with other animals - that can inspire for some kind of Asian safari habitat rides...But that's pretty much all... the important design items such as custom made billboards are a part of free update. I feel that they completely missed the opportunity of introducing habitats designed for animals active at night like babirusa, binturong (day/night cycle and hard shelter mechanic are already in the game!). Unless... they are planning a new DLC with nocturnal animals including bats or those cute lemur with big eyes (if anyone still remembers that meme animal :P) and then adapt a few mechanics for those...
I was hoping that the Clouded leopards climbing habits would be added into the game. It's the only wild cat species that can climb branches upsidedown, kinda like how you see monkeys upsidedown on branches and hangs from their hind legs. I am still gonna hold out for some custom animations.
I only I have a few issues with planet zoo We need null paths, the animal food needs more detail and the primate climbing animations needs to be less glitchy more finer animation what do you think ?

The scars are actually an in game mechanic and are aquired by the individual animals. If they dont fight in your habitat, they wont have scars, e.g. if you only have one male.
I hope he'll add some of the other south Asian animals the game already had too, especially since two of them can share habitats with animals from the pack.
Are you going to make a zoo for these guys? :D would love to see a few other southeast Asian animals included in the zone. Maybe the Indian elephant, Bengal Tiger? Some reptiles
India is not in southeast asia, India is south asia that's why bengal tiger and indian elephant arent included Southeast asian has its own species of elephant (thai elephant) and tigers (malaya tigers and sumatran tiger)

Awwww man, the baby babirusa and clouded leopard! All of these animals (new binturong included of course) are absolutely incredible! I love the sun bear animations, the clouded leopard canines, so much great work here :D
Idea: You could make a "Joined" habitat for the tapir, sunbear and Binturong. How? You have the sunbears and the tapirs enclosures right next to one a other, either sharing one wall or having it be a bit away. How do you make all three share habitat then? Easy! 1) Build the two habitats 2) Creat a raised area in the bears enclosure that they can not acess. 3) Have a tunnel go from the tapirs enclosure to the bears enclosure. This tunnel should be raised so that the tapirs can not acess it and walk into the bears. 4) Make sure the tapirs cant go into the tunnel one extra time and dubblechek that the bears can NOT climb up to the raised area of their enclosure. Now, if the Binturongs can climb up and down the raised area thats fine but we dont want the bears to as the babieds might be able to fit in the tunnel and go in to the tapirs for a smörgåsbord XD
