A mall is also a street in a city or town with a lot of stores and that is closed to traffic.

Main mall its so old guys I think that's the first mall to be built in Botswana n there are malls lyk the airport junction,the fields rail park n more

You guys I think you compare Botswana with SA too. Mind you, we started from Zero, unlike most African who inherited infrastructure at the time of independence. But we’re far much better than most african countries. Our rural are reasonably developed than in most countries in Africa.
It wasn’t comparison at all. Our expectations were high as it said “main mall”. However, we were able to find other malls. And you’re right, there’s definitely progress made through the infrastructure development we saw in Gabs
Bro calm down let's normalize succesful Botswana okay, no need to talk about infrastructure and sorts, we all know botswana is the most succesful country in Africa. Gaborone has a per capita of $32,000 that's the highest of any african city so no need for this bro 🙃
@icno123 not sure where you get those stats mate. Botswana doesn’t even feature in the top 20 wealthiest countries in Africa. Zimbabwe even has a higher GDP. Anyways…

This mall was built in 1963 and over the years it has gotten minor face lifts, along with the African mall. So comparing it with other countries?... not making excuses but again the population of Botswana being one of the smallest in Africa, how fast would one expect changes to move? Again looking at the fact that the country was never colonized by white supremacists, Batswana literally built their country from dust literally. Right now the economy is not so bad
