Born in flames in the middle of 2022, Raven’s Call from Blackened Forest is the latest material of Fellwinter. Cold and mechanical in its signature style, this particular demo presents a new level of energy for the project due in part to the perfect storm of Mercenary's precise session drums and Taurus' evocative songwriting and performance.

Nah drums are never the most important thing in Black Metal. They're important but they are secondary to killer vocals and riffs.

No one can nor should care but my thoughts: the first song’s main riff/lead ending part didn’t really connect with me, but overall the song was still good. The rest of this is fanfuckintastic tho. He/they had a sound they wanted and succeeded in achieving it. Nice work! This files in nicely to my ears, on some Rhinocervs, Fallen Empire, Final Agony, Amor Fati type of timing. Thank you for sharing. Salute.
