I flew on N320US more than once this year. Again another 30+ year old Delta A320. I was probably the only passenger who knew how old the plane was! What modern interiors!
This vlog is amazing as always. As someone who loves vintage items, seeing you fly a 30-year-old aircraft fascinates me. By the way, if you are no longer posting your mom's videos, I completely understand. As much as I like your mom's videos, your videos aren't the same without you in them.
Delta stays profitable by using older planes in good condition and then makes the interiors modern. They never rush to buy the latest and greatest. They actually still if I'm not mistaken operate more 757s than any other airline because no plane currently does what the 757 does
Delta loves to stretch the age of their fleet. I predict the A319/A320s that are this old will still be around for a few years. Same with the 20+ year old 737s.
Unites express also uses the International gates as well while all United mainline flights have their own concourse which C and D are trash while A and B are nice (non commuter section)
If you were on the last Delta MD 88 flight it was out of Dulles also this airport is a United Airlines hub so if you were connecting in Dulles then you would see the airport more often
All the cookies and candy made in the US and airlines have to get foreign cookies-Biscoff and Stroop Wafels. I do like both but you would think Nabisco or some other company would try to get their cookies on planes more often.
Interesting to see a 30+ year old passenger plane still in revenue service. I thought planes get retired from passenger service after no more than 25 years of flight.
I am taking a class called Music of the People Jazz right now in college and learning about the Be Bop era. Are you familiar with that era of music as well as Minstrel, Ragtime, Blues, Big Band, etc.
@thejazzguy13 Love the coverage man, always doing you're very best and creating great vids even if it takes some time to edit/fix as usual Chris. I dig your laid back sense of Style ain't gonna lie for 6ft you haha. Hope your taking care of yourself.
He actually plays the violin and the piano, and he is taking music classes in college. I have seen him carry his violin case in a video from a couple years ago.
Enjoyed the video! Very well done! Curious . . . Why do feel that IAD is the only true international airport in the US? I haven’t been to IAD in years. Is Delta your go-to airline?
I do know the Asia/Pacific market is trying to bring flights and routes back excluding China with flights to Australia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Guam, Bora Bora, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore

Just like their 757s and 767s...Delta is great on keeping those types fresh
probably
For a 30+ year old jet, Delta has done a GREAT job keeping it fresh and modern
The cabin retrofits are really what Delta does best. You could go from a 1-year old A220 to a 30-year old 757 and think they're both new planes.
planes
Your enthusiasm of travel clearly shows in the choreography of your music and video shots! I always enjoy them👌
The quality of the interior, and even the snack branding shows just how Delta pays attention to the detail. That matters!
Good grief!!! Time flies when you get older! I am 59 and still look at the A320 as a new aircraft!!!!
Absolutely fantastic travel vlog as always Chris!😸

Crazy how Delta has 30 year old planes making their interior look very modern and fresh
its not delta. its the ex north west workers

@@dknowles60your not wrong NWA was WAY better
DC Dulles used to not have gates but instead mobile lounges to take passengers to their airplane
I'm glad you dunked the biscoff in the coffee, good job mate!
I will be boarding the exact same plane (N317US) in two days!!!
June 1991 FTW! Metallica, Nirvana, Guns n Roses all partied in this exact plane!
According to Jeb Brooks, Delta has the best First Class in the United States based on the Legacy Carriers (United, American, Delta)
Even the old 757’s and 767’s from 1990 look really good and new. For sure even the charter 757’s from 1989 like 649DL and 650FL.
Hey dude I have a question when will you fly to dulles again?
I flew on N334NW between Anchorage and Seattle in March of 1995 with Northwest airlines I miss the a320s back then

Hey awesome for you to pass over AVL. You shouldve stopped by and said hey
Would've loved to! Love the area!
My hometown, KMLU Airport is Delta's birthplace!
I flew on Delta's A320 from IAH to ATL earlier this year and I too had an empty middle seat
Unites express also uses the International gates as well while all United mainline flights have their own concourse which C and D are trash while A and B are nice (non commuter section)
Awesome video, buddy :)

Those "buses" at IAD remind me of the movie Airport 1975!

I love your vids
@Chris Jazz have you flown allegiant to and from there?
What a small world, I was on this exact aircraft today. This comment from the air on N320US Austin to JFK
Chris, you said you're flying back to San Francisco after Atlanta?
Yeah I flew an a320 recently and throught the same not a lot of legroom flying JetBlue next week just to try the extra space 😂

I am pretty sure he is.
hahaha luckily you clarify "not for the avgeek"...
Take care of the aircraft and she'll take care of you.

Thx man appreciate it 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@thejazzguy13 no prob man, appreciate you too 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Remember to do plane spotting before you leave Atlanta USA 🇺🇸.
Do you play jazz quitar? I haven't seen you carry any instrument case?

@@crazycoollady Oh ok, thanks I know he said he was in graduate school.
@@canyonoverlook9937 You're welcome. He is currently in grad school.

Shout out AVL! Now the third busiest airport in NC and still way too small!
Been a while since I've seen you fly out of DC Dulles
Delta 737-900er has great leg room space and what's the name of the departure airport
Delta has some 767’s and 757’s that are even older
Nah the a320s are the oldest
You heading to Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport ATL busiest Airport 🇺🇸 ✈, AWESOME!!!!
rip TheJazzMom filming
When will 2022 travel Vlog's start appearing?
Once I get thru roughly another 30 videos lol lots of cool stuff tho I can't really skip over!
I know people who have flown Delta and said legroom is not very good in economy
How man videos do you post a month?
My favorite airline Delta airlines A321neo or A320, BTW my 20th birthday 🎂 is next week Saturday 26th.
My favorite plane is united 727 200 tulip logo it is my first trip on a plane got to sit in pilots cabin
You should fly Delta out of SNA, a great Airport
International travel does not really take off again until May/June 2022
Are you a person who only flies on airbus?
Fly to Alliance Nebraska sometime please
Its been years hehe.
yooo i go to IAD all the tome
Posting things a year old or more, haven't you done anything in 2022 ?
Man…. I gotta ask. Why are you still wearing a mask, especially if you’re not wearing it half of your video?
bit old
Wearing a mask still? What a joke!
Believe me, if I wasn't required to wear it at the time, it wouldn't be on my face...
