I’m learning the song right now and checking videos. Yours is simple yet most solid. This is what bands want from their drummers.
Thanks! I realized early on that I don’t have the chops for “show off” videos, so my approach has been to play these songs accurately to help people in bands learn them. I’m always glad to hear when that was a good approach. Take care!
Awesome ! I learned the song in 10 minutes dude watching your cover
Great! That's exactly why I upload these.
Great cover I love it
Shane, can’t thank you enough for all of your help! I’ve learned multiple songs that I hope to play out someday thanks to your sheet music and videos.
Absolutely straight and super korrekt 🥁🥁🥁🥁👌👌👌
Fantastic job with angles of cameras and making it much simpler to learn from a cover! I think a ding that’s perfect can’t or shouldn’t be messed with. Eye if the tiger same thing. Just subscribed 🤟🏼
Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words and support.
@@RedeyePerc true story I was 13 and my uncle was a well known roadie in Alberta and BC Canada. He snuck me into a bar and I got to jam with Joan and the band for warm ups. Of course I begged for I Love Rock and Roll! Anytime the song comes on the radio ANYONE who knows me gets to her this story… usually starting with Hey did I ever tell you the time.. YES! You have.
@@Pokerchick That’s amazing! I have had a couple moments on stage with national acts throughout my life, but never with someone I really was a fan of. Joan is just a little older than me, so I would have been in awe of a crush there.
Great job! Good to see another video! You've been missed friend!
+Brooke Smith Thanks Brooke! I typically slow down a bit when marching band season starts. I've got 8 more videos recorded, I just can't find the time to edit them.
Understood. I'll be patiently waiting
+Brooke Smith When I do get a free evening, I'm torn between doing video editing or recording another new one. Tonight I've got to change heads on my gigging kit, then I may have some time to edit. "For What It's Worth" is next. Take care!
I love it! I tried following however, i'm just a beginner. Thanks for the video. Now all I have to do is practice!!!!! LOL
Awesome, thanks!
awesome job !!!!!
+tati metal Thanks! I play this one with my band, so I had already learned it prior to recording.
You know it man. Speed♫
+10 SPEED Thanks Speed! I play this one with my band, so I was prepared going in.
very good job!!
+javier ten Thanks! It's a fun one.
me ajudou demais da conta!!!!!!
+Sonia Gandra - Thanks for watching!
GOOD
good, simple beat...
Thanks. This one is very fun.
THIS LOOKS SIMPLE, SO WHY WON´T THE DRUM PLAYER IN MY BAND LEARN THE FUCKING SONG?
HAHAHAHA
It’s a very common problem with self taught drummers. They just can’t get things correct sometime and don’t know why.
Virtually every type of musician other than the drummer think they can just sit behind a drum kit and just play the drums like a drummer.
This is a common misconception among non-percussionist musicians - the belief that the technical skill sets associated with playing a melodic instrument are commensurate with those developed for drumming. The problem is that drumming requires very little fine motor control but instead places a much greater demand on gross motor control across the entire body.
@@jordanchen23 I know that drums are hard. Hell, I could not do it if I wanted since I do not have the motor skills hahaha. But you haven't heard my drummer. I have 4 other drummer friends and they can all play this song or these types of songs with ease. My drummer can't stay in time, always screws up the structure, drops his sticks all the time, has no dynamics at all and literally never learns the songs before rehersal.
And he is not even self taught, he has the same teacher as one other friend I have (probably the best drummer I know my age)
Jordan Chen I agree completely. It’s actually pretty easy to learn the mechanics of drumming. I’ve taught so many high school students that I’ve lost count. People don’t realize you actually have to learn it though and think just winging it will work. You can always tell when someone tried this approach.
Give me your damn tab
Cooles Beckenset
Thanks for watching! What does your comment mean? Maybe I'm too old to understand it...
Redeye Percussion thats my real opinion, I like the sound... by the way, think I am older
That's possible, but I was asking what "Cooles Beckenset" means. I'm not familiar...
Redeye Percussion its german: means: very cool set of cymbals....
Ah - thanks for the translation and for the compliment. Those Saludas sound great! Take care.
That poor drummer for this band. All her songs sound the same. Learn one and you’re good to go.
wah wah wah wine
man, that backing track is awful!!!
Yes indeed 🤢
Do u know what's awful U stinky
No that’s just how all her songs sound.
