YOUR CAST NET IS ONE OF YOUR BEST FRIENDS - We use high quality nets because we rely on them to catch us bait. We always use lead weighted nets and small mesh size is very important. We like ¼” mesh. You will spend a little more but you’ll catch bait and keep them healthy! Here is a good brand of nets:

@@watchyourlip3209 we booked a few back county trips through bud and mary's so I was thinking gear for fishing around the resort off the docks, maybe kayak?. I'm guessing light spinning tackle but I'm from oregon so it will be new to me
Chris Brown yes. Light tackle rods for sure. But there are big lemons right there on the docks as well as tarpon. The permit should be around as well. It wouldn’t hurt to soak some live blue crabs off the dock and see what happens. Best advice I can give is to ask for fresh pilchards at a tackle shop. See if you can find them that have never been frozen. It makes a huge difference with snapper on the docks. Much better than frozen bait

I’m here now on Mother’s Day my experience do far, floors are dirty at entry, particles on floor don’t know what they are, someone else’s hair in shower and dust on furniture and finger cumulation thick dust, my experience so far
