    This was very good info. From a distance or maybe gross inexperience it would seem like these critiques are trivial but this is how you squeeze out performance.

      They seem silly till you need to make the grade.
      And it changes based on config. I did a DMR course with a 14.5, I'd shot it with a 18 inch 2 months earlier. I was surprised how differently the rounds handled past 400 yards between the different uppers.
      And the biggest thing to me that you can't really make a video on is just all the minutia, the experience of the shooter, like how does your eye work with the optic, its extremely personal what optic, reticle, stock setup, you actually end up liking.

    Triggercams are completely changing the game for video PRS instruction. Being able to see what the shooter sees during shots is invaluable

    This is fkn dope. I love this series. I've been working a ton on positional shooting. It's such a big deal in competition as well as in a potentially real world scenario. Absolutely loved it.

    I like that second image view he is getting besides the trigger cam. Is he using a drone to get those shots/spot shots?

    So I’ve seen other trigger cam videos that look clear but all your are blurry Any reason for that? Settings? Or nightforce 1-8x. Phillip Velayo trigger cam video are all clear.

  • @Brayden-P
    @Brayden-P Рік тому +1

    I felt like it wasn't clear in this video or the last, but I assume Adrian only prefers the push method from a barricade because you would be fighting your self from a prone position. But I still don't understand why you would rather try to fight recoil with your firing hand vs the shoulder. I understand the reduction of input of any movement from the core, but it seems like more work to then recoil. And we're shooting gas guns not bolt guns, so speed may be more critical at intermediate distances which makes me think that recoil management might be more preferred. Just curious is Jimmy had more clarification on the topic.

    • @jimmybrodriguez
      @jimmybrodriguez  Рік тому +1

      yes, it was a new concept for me too, but I had to at least try it. I'll touch on it a bit more in the last video. It's similar to free recoiling the gun. Ultimately you have to figure out what works best of you and the task at hand which is usually dictated by target size, distance, and time. Smaller targets may require a more steady wobble zone while larger target afford you more wobble and better recoil management.

      @@jimmybrodriguez exactly it's the the blackout defense AR-10/308 trigger and it's 4lbs but will still get ya ... But when you master it over that sudden trigger slap it's exactly like the Guy says your whole body+rifle performs differently after the shot goes off ! Good stuff

    The speed drop has been well documented, and it works best if you can chrono or back out a velocity with hard dope. Then, instead of doing the math on the fly (never math in public), dial under by 1.5-2.0 depending on your weapon system. Your reticle is now a BDC (200 is 2 mils, 375 is 3.75 mils, etc). I prefer this to trying to do the math on the fly. Like was mentioned, this method is less precise but works great for fast engagements. You also maintain your 100 yard zero and can adjust easier to conditions by dialing under.

    How much filling do u remove from s new Armageddon bag? I bought the Shmedium w heavy fill (I like it heavy) but I'm not sure what the ideal fill amount is.
    I assume they overfill so youncan remove however much you prefer. Thoughts?

    • @jimmybrodriguez
      @jimmybrodriguez  Рік тому +1

      I actually haven't removed any, I just waited until the bag broke in and stretched a bit. If you take any out, save it in a zip lock so you can put it back later if you want.

      @@jimmybrodriguez Thank you for the advice. The only change I made was removing a few ozs of sand and replacing it with silica (I save those packets of salt that come in packages bc they are good to put in sneakers, gun cabinets, etc to absorb moisture) so I put some in the bag in case it gets wet.

    I like everything except the trigger pin.
    You can train thru flinching and tensing up pre-shot. If you’re (not you specifically but everyone) actually squeezing the trigger like you’re supposed to, then you won’t have those issues.
    Slapping the trigger in almost any scenario is the wrong answer.
