Until I started attending the Church of God, I believed in God and hoped to be saved, but I couldn't really listen to the words of the Bible. At that time, I thought I just needed to be saved through faith. But now I know that I can never be saved by keeping man-made commandments rather than God's commandments. I am truly grateful to Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for giving me, who had no spiritual discernment, the wisdom and eyes to distinguish between truth and lies.

Christmas originated from the pagan sungod worship and it does not have anything to do with the birth of Jesus Christ. We should not keep the Christmas as Christians. It is just a idolatry. Rather, we should keep the festivals of God such as the Passover and the Sabbath. God promised eternal life through the Passover and eternal rest in heaven through the Sabbath day.

We must do the will of God to receive salvation by keeping the New Covenant not a pagan holiday, Christmas. We can keep the New Covenant only in the World Mission Society Church of God.
Christmas, celebrated today as the birthday of Jesus, is actually a day to commemorate the birth of the Roman sun god. Even though you say you believe in God, is it okay to change the birthday of another god into God's birthday and observe it? Christmas is just a day of idolatry forbidden by God. We must follow the teachings of the Bible and believe in and obey Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, who are the saviors of this age as testified by the Bible, and we can receive the blessing of salvation.
Before coming to this church I was not aware about the truth behind Christmas, after studying it was clear I was not following God. It’s one think to not know but once your aware we must make all effort to turn back to God, but their are many people who are aware but continue celebrating a lie. How grieved God must be to hear people saying they love God but action proves different. Loving God is doing the things that God loves not hate. I am very thankful for attending the World Mission Society Church of God established by God so I can learn Gods way and walk in Gods path not the path of this world that can’t lead me to Salvation.
I am so thankful to have learned about the origins of Christmas, which is some thing that the people in this world do not teach and if they do teach it, they don’t combine it with the word of God to never worship as the pagans do.
