    Thanks for this Info. I remember bending on of the Pinch Weld on the STS, even with the Jack provided by Cadillac, and busting the Clips that held that Plastic Rocker Panel off with a Hydraulic Floor jack. The last few Yrs I would use a Length of 2x4 on top of the Floor Jack, and place it next to the Pinch Weld.

    • @JetFuelOnly
      @JetFuelOnly 3 роки тому

      Loud and rough doesn’t sound like the symptoms but all you need to do is look under the car and see if the black bar going between your front wheels is pressed against the lines above it. It’s 4 nuts to remove the bar. Sometimes you just need to straighten the attachment points on the car (easy by hand) or the bar could be actually bent and will need to be straightened

      Adam Lemus you would need to reprogram the sensors to their new position and you will need a TPMS tool. There’s different ones and I’m not sure if the one I use is good for the 2014 ats sensors but it’s the EL-50448 on Amazon or EBay.

      Eddy. My 2013 ATS 3.6L has a 45k mile tranny change interval (assume this means flush, I did first drain and fill at 32k). It is an easy procedure. Jack up the front as shown in this video. I placed ramps under the front wheels. In the rear, jack stands on both sides and 3 ton floor jack under the rear differential. Drain fluid and then remove pan to drain remaining. Clean the magnet and inside pan. The filter pulls out. Should not have to change grommet around filter tube. The pan gasket is made to be reused. But replace if showing any seepage. Tightened the 10mm pan bolts until "gently" bottoming out. Don't overtighten (did not use my torque wrench). Pump in fluid (Dexron VI) through fill port on passenger side of tranny. When fluid begins to drip out, turn on car to warm fluid to 86F. Used my non-contact Fluke temperature meter to measure. With engine running, pump in more fluid until begins to drip out. I used 7 quarts. Replaced plug and moved shifter through gears. Checked fluid again with engine running. All good. No difference in how car shifted before or after fluid change.
