This Is One of the best cutscene ever made in a video game. The soldier looking at you After Mendoza Smash the Window Is the perfect way to describe the insanity of the situation. It seems that all the people that are in the cutscene, from the pilot of the helicopter to the enemies, are all sayng "WTF is going on?" Like the protagonists 😅 really underrated story mode! unlike other game, Hardline had a soul and a clear identity. Really deserve more consideration!
Hardline was a love letter to those Hollywood-esque action and cop movies, so it's clearly intentional. Such an entertaining game. The fan's overwhelming and unjustified critics harmed the game a lot. Never ceases to amaze me how players prefered 2042 to Hardline.
Both Hardline and 2042 had bad launches but Hardline just didn't have as many people to keep it alive, most battlefield fans went back to BF4 before the devs fixed it. Both are great games but it was only after months of patches. A shame really

I played Hardline from launch and I don't remember having any issues (at least, compared to 2042 which was disastrous) But like you said, people just preferred to go back to BF4 because the majority agreed to hate on Hardline for not being military oriented and felt small compared to the previous game. That helo crash is legit one of the most impressive in a video game. Also, whenever I played this, I could always feel that tug around the waist from the harness when the wire goes taut thanks to some rock climbing, hah

What movies and games didn't care is that those glass windows on those buildings are strong as a concrete walls, and when you smash into it is unlikely gonna break through the building, it'll be more like throwing a tomatoe at the wall
I love how funny this game is. It's literally meant to be a goofy Miami Vice kinda thing, and it pulls it off so well. Also, that tower is shaped like The Marker from Dead Space.

This is the only Battlefield campaign I legitimately enjoyed. Probably because it was actually filled with really entertaining moments like these. Reminded me of Call of Duty campaigns which moments like these are what makes them so good
This has the vibe of that scene in one of the Transporter movies where Jason Statham flips a car and hits a crane just right to scrape a bomb from the underside of his car. I imagine the person who pitched the idea for this scene explained it the same way an 8 year old explains a dream. Just one big ass run on sentence that has a too many “and then” in it

Me when that breaking the window scene and suddenly Freeze button pops up: "HOW TF YOU WANT ME TO FREEZE A BUNCH OF SWATS?!"
