Pretty sure this is from VBS, essentially a sort of military-exclusive version of Arma.

@@IHateUA-camHandlesVeryMuch It looks a bit outdated, and low FPS, almost like turn based squad tactics game. Which is like, right up my alley, I would love to play something like that. Closest I can think of is XCOM, and earlier than that Fallout: Tactics (an absolute gem of a buggy mess). Cheers!

Remember that it's for observation only. It also means that they might not get the chance to figure your center of mass; if you pop twice the second time might just be a muzzle flash.

Make more of these SIM lessons please. Touch on subjects such as Combat Techniques of Fire, show the difference in application of jungle versus desert. Individual Fieldcraft is another subject. Anything you can produce that can help keep people alive either by movement, proper positioning with camouflage or fire control methods.

instead of exposing your head why not use a field periscope? ???

Mission-essential combat loads can exceed 70 pounds without the ruck. Even if a field periscope was very small, it just wouldn't be useful enough to equip and train forces to use.

@@akompsupport Lol. If it helps, I do know that some soldiers who do a lot of MOUT sometimes carry around small mirrors for things like that. But in general, crossing linear danger areas is a matter of training, not special tools.
