I watched the guru episode and the key takeout for me was he would always stay on the fence. His message was by not knowing or claiming to know he has the potential to learn more as he hasn’t restricted his mindset with the thought of knowing. So whenever he spoke he would speak from all aspects without ever telling you what his opinion is. The key to his talent is to have you question yourself without him giving you your answer.
Interesting take. Do you think his doing that to get them to think to take some potential benefit from their discussion or do you think he does that so he doesn’t have to answer the questions as he doesn’t know the answers to what his messages are if that makes sense?

EXACTLY MIKE! i have many chronic illnesses and have been in the same
hospital since i was born. in the beginning (first 5-6 years of my life) it was fine- then they started getting too many patients not enough funding/updated equipment & are severely understaffed. My drs (especially my specialists) are just as frustrated as me that they can’t see me often enough to provide proper care. I see a pain team and they’re only funded to see paitents once a week and their most extreme cases get to see them 2-3 times a year max yet when they ask for more funding they’re told there isn’t a big enough demand. and yet at the same time they won’t outsource you cuz they want to be the ones to make the money off you. the system is fucked but the workers are doing their best with their hands tied and are just as frustrated and are fighting for us!

When it comes to George’s statement about saud guru talking about letting go at any time, i think saud was talking about end of life despair. In the holistic, spirituality community, there are ways to “give up” by either refusing to eat or drink and using different herbs to assist in the dying. I honestly think George misunderstood his statement about suicide.
This episode was a mess and I loved every second of it.

George missed the point Sadhguru was trying to make with the dying on your own will because he didn't give Sadhguru a chance to explain thoroughly what he meant and he left angry because he didn't communicate that to him and now is assuming that what Sadhguru said was wrong. For these types of deep conversations you need more than 1 podcast to make any assumption at all, if anything you shouldn't assume ever because what Sadhguru said "I don't know" opens a world of possibilities.
And Sadhguru would've laughed when you said that the pinacle of life would be something material like winning the lottery. He sees life as way more profound for it to be that. He is talking about pure bliss.
And when he says to take one's own life, he is not talking violently like using a knife or hanging yourself. He is talking about a practice where an enlightened being chooses to go at a moment where they feel they have completed their life and if done right they will leave their body naturally with no injury with complete detachment of this world and become free.
At least that is what I have researched until now it may be different in Sadhguru's words but don't make opinions off ignorance George.

If he’s spreading a message and one of the people that are right there interviewing him can interpret it as committing suicide, then imagine how thousands of people can interpret that same message. I think that guy should polish and have awareness in spreading said message.

In the show...Sadguru immediately made it clear that he is not telling anyone to die just when george asks him....George simply doesn't want to understand the point that sadguru made, sadguru said right now people's life is based on the belief that there is a better place (heaven), but heaven is the life itself.
