  • You need to be proficient at using formulas for the GED math and science tests as well as for your college classes. Follow along as Kate demonstrates this skill, using a formula and her TI-30XS Multiview calculator to convert degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit.

      YEESSSS! We are SO glad to be a part of your progress! For the math portion, use the website www.lightandsaltlearning.org/ged-math-crash-course. Start at Unit 0 and work your way through doing one worksheet for each video.

    Look, not everyone has the calculator to practice at home. You should ASSUME not everyone has one... That being said, instead of plugging the formula into the calculator can you work out the problem thoroughly so we can see how you got your answer?

      We highly recommend everyone get and use this calculator before taking the GED, the TI-30XS Multiview Scientific Calculator. It is the only calculator allowed for the test and runs differently than a standard calculator. It's a good idea to know how to use it before taking your test.
