Season 21 of Apex Legends known as Upheaval is out now, and the brand new Skirmisher Legend, known as Alter, will be joining The Apex Games.
Alter's Passive: Gift From The Rift - Alter can remotely interact with a box to claim one item, but it cannot be armor.
Alter's Tactical: Void Passage - Alter can create a portal passageway through a surface.
Alter's Ultimate: Void Nexus - Alter can create a group point that all allies can remotely interact with to open a phase tunnel back to that location.

Not at all she requires a good amount of skill to be good. She isn't like old wraith, prime bloodhound, or release seer were whenever you played them it was a free win
I’d say only thing that needs a nerf is the passive because that thing is built different

No as in the door doesn't open is the bug so if a teammate followed you in and the portal closed they wouldn't be able to get out
Last one should definitely open the doors tbh. Hold one yh is using it smart tho

Lore wise the last one makes sense, BUT it seems fair enough that she can stay there because there's not a single end ring that ends there
There are rings that end close to it tho

I wish teammates would use her ult. I have to yell at downed teammates to use my ult and they are so confused lmfao
I just hate when people use her but never use her ult and put her wall fazing ability in dumb places
Yesterday I had a game where I got knocked used my ult to get away pinged the ult they could travel to because they were being shot at and instead kept fighting then after my ult was finished they came to get me…. Like THE F?

InB4 my alter tried to ult back mid fight and died in animation 😢
So what's worse not knowing a legend 1 day after it being released or still having numbers in your name in 2020s?
I wanna use her to get into vaults without a key on worlds edge, you could literally just drop there and be kitted immediately

The first one is actually a disadvantage if playing against caustic and he traps your q, because you would immediately get gassed and slowed
I'd love to see someone get trapped in the caustic room
You can teleport inside of a care package (including lifeline’s) using alter’s ultimate. if you place the ultimate in the middle of where it will land you can teleport your teammates inside using the leftover shatter caused by you recalling. doesnt seem to have any advantage apart from being funny and seemingly appearing from no where
Can probably get through the vaults on Worlds Edge, too lol.

@@RossTheeSquirrelhey homie i did this glitch with her tactical, so if you play as new castle you can kinda reset your ultimate cool down. You basically ult to your alter if she is close to her tactical ability, and sometimes it will catch while doing that and cancel the ult animate so you basically can use the ult of newcastle to rotate back to your team if you need to get out quickly as newcastle
There’s also a bug where your hair loom unequippes ever game!

That first one happend to me i was so confused i thought my teamate was hacking 😂
Hardcore gamers when a certain glitch allows them to do this mundane thing 0.004% faster than normal: as you can see, this gives the player an unfair advantage that completely turns the tide of a fight completely in their favor.
And yet macros were totally acceptable until like 3 weeks ago. What a trash game

Makes the ult actually feel impactful. But you still can't use it in the open cuz you get murdered trying to activate it. 😂

It’s not like the door needs to open, she can get out, but she could leave a teammate stuck if not careful. At that point it might be a deserved death when zone comes lol
A teammate has 10 seconds to get out of there just like she does…. If they stay that’s on them. If they get stuck that’s their fault.
I think Fuse and Maggie should be able to blow the hold door with their tactical too.
It actually makes your weapon come out later. So for a second the enemies can see you but you cant run not shot.
Yeah… I tried to portal into a imc armory once and it ended up opening the other door for my opponent, who than instantly shot me and I died. This was in ranked😭😭😭
Getting kidnapped by he is op she can snatch you through the floor last ring building was a literal scary movie
so it was two glitches and an intended feature, with only the second glitch actually being game-breaking
Bro, the first one is a bug/glitch. The second is a feature, which is why the alarms go off and doors open. Then the third is just an oversight 💀
Last one is smart they just need to make it like the other where the door pops open and alarms go off.
Tbf getting into those places is pretty lore accurate for her so I’d say let her keep it

That room in caustic has a exit in the back lol so even if the doors locked you can still get out

First glitch hurts you more than helps the sound q makes everyone just sit on the breach waiting you'll get fried

I’ve already had so many great plays with her. Earlier today playing on WE in Landslide there was a team camping way up on the scaffolding thing way up in the air. I tactical’d the bottom of it from like 30 meters away n someone ended up falling through n got the kill

ima be honest i havent had this much fun on apex in probably over a year, alter is so dope.
If her tac is too go through walls then I feel like the caustic one makes sense and I’m pretty sure Watson is able too open the door too
Not to mention people are going to use vaults as a bunker during ranked. Set the nexus in the vault, q out and go fight. Gets too hot then port back and no one can get in unless theyre using her
The explosive hold one seems intended, and the caustic treatment one seems like a slight oversight. But the first one with a pretty bad bug that needs fixes.
Imagine you find a vault key just to find its been looted lol
I don’t think it’s a glitch i think it’s her ability to move through portals directly on the other side of solid things

Had another glitch happen today... Used her portal as a different character and got stuck in the floor. It had me in the floor to the point that I was able to be shot by the team on the floor above.
Alter already Altered the game 😂isn’t that by definition is what she’s there for.
The last two arnt glitches , in development it’s called a feature. Especially when you use the character’s ability the way it’s intended. Loba take stuff from the holds anyways so it’s not exactly crazy and then again nades are common. However for the caustic door that’s cheeky and a smart way to chill out in final ring

Idk if this a glitch or not but if ur teammate is using her and Ults but ur down, u can still use the her ultimate while crawling lol

Getting into locked rooms is not a bug, it just makes sense.

I did this and literally thought that’s how your supposed to use it until I died going through the portal because she took to long to take the gun out😔

The first one is the only bug, the others is just her being her.
My teammates were below me and put a portal on their ceiling/my floor. As I was running I got snared when I went into the hole. I was inside the ceiling and couldn't do anything. The enemies killed me from below. My teammates won but couldn't do anything to get me. My downed timer ran out but I didn't die. Storm was coming so my Alt used her ult and when I took it I instantly died but I think I would have been invincible in there from dying and probably could have won the game like that :)
That’s her power lol the only issue is the phase not happening
ive seen players get stuck (clipping thru the floor) on the alter tp when placed vertical
Idea lure enemy's into caustic room scarface your self and have a support teammate craft you make sure you dmg them and free kills once ring closes
She wqs broken off concept dont know what crack there smoking cause every new legend or rewrok jsut makes them insanly strong for no reason

Another alter glitch is that you can get stuck in a roof of where you put the tac

I personally don’t have a problem with any of the things listen in this video but one thing I thought was broken was yesterday’s was playing with my friend who was playing as alter and I got downed, my teammate was able to place her ultimate far away from me and I was still able to jump to it while being downed, now that seems like a broken mechanic to me lol
The fact that you can use her ability if your stuck with an arc star and it stopps it from going off is stupid broken
You can follow alter through the portal so idk if it's really a good thing
Lmao I can shield swap with her passive stg. Try it a couple matches and deathboxes. It’s rare and hard to get.
Alter is gonna be a rat legend in rank. I can feel those rat players
