I dont see many acceleration clips of this car at all so i decided to do one
Top speed limited to 140
Car is stock with all the options.

Nice run; I have had mine up to 165 at an event where we had room to do so. These are governed at 167 for top end stock.
Yea im still upset about that, i read google that it was 140 so i stopped, i woulda kept going if i knew better

Massive engine with a decent trans. Get a tune and it’ll be way faster

I love how they put the engine from a Titan/Armada into the Maxima luxury equivalent, which makes for one hell of a combination.
I just wish the transmission was better refined, too much vibration on the L version ruins the experience

@@isaiahwallace05 no maxima is front wheel drive based car. Very different trans. Very different platforms. q70 is as similar to maxima as lexus gs-f is to camry.
@@rmblwgn the Camry is a Lexus ES and the Q50 is the old maxima that used to be made in Japan before Americans made it shitty in 2004. Infiniti sedans are still made in Japan

Recently had my 5.6 to 150 and there was plenty more room to go above that. Maybe ill try that on a track because on the highway that shit was intense
Make sure your tires are rated for that speed.
hi man , how are you , I have qx70 5.0 , handles really well . Sometimes I hate that 7 speed transmission , overall I love it . I am considering get q70 5.6 , how is the low end toque ? Give gas and it takes off o there is a hesitation because of the transmission .

This car can easily do 160. I had one (I’m still apart of the family) it was a 3.7 and pushed it easily. It was limited @ 160 with no tune.
160-165 is probably the real top speed. It was still accelerating no problem at 135-140
I want a Q70 with the 5.6. I have a '15 Premium AWD with the 3.7. It's impressive. I haven't had it over 120, but I would expect it to hit 160 if it wasn't limited.

@@a.d.c7941 these Infinities, like most cars, have factory rev limiters and top speed limiters. Most vehicles can be tuned, which is accessing and manipulating the factory computer to meet your needs. A stock 3.7, I wouldn't waste my money tuning it.

Cant you swap out the rear end for a G37 one. It has a higher ratio so it shortens the gears

Is the mpg decent on this 5.6? When driving normal
If you put it in Economy mode, which is a horrible driving experience, and it's a totally flat surface at 60mph it will actually approach 30mpg. BUT is that fun? Actually I bought my Q70S 5.6 and had to drive her home 1100 miles so on the flat road with no hills and no need to pass or quick accelerate I did put it in Economy mode at 65mph and it hit 25 mpg. Pretty good but I keep her in normal mode for the most part and she does about 21 on average, mix of city and highway. They are quick.
I've gotten 26mpg babying it and going 65mph on the highway. It's terrible in the city and especially in arctic conditions-I get 12mpg during city driving.
Better than my charger scat pack lol and better than my previous 09 m35x surprisingly.
i get 18-19 mpg driving semi-harsh

Why did it look so slow after like 60?? I have a 11 g37x coupe and I feel like it climbs not crazy faster but mine does look like it climbs faster than the one in the video lol. Anybody else feel same way?? lol probably just me idk
I have the long wheelbase version which adds about 100 lbs of weight, could be why

What's funny is that the 2008 Infiniti m35s isn't limited it can go 165mph no limiter or red limiter just a seven speed shifting quick

@@marekbusta1834 most of the SUVs with the engine have 1 intake whereas this has 2. I guess one less intake helps with increased torque.

@@kurtkloss3491 actually I own a BMW 850i, 76 Trans Am 455, DeLorean, and 72 VW one of only 1000 made. You do not buy 2015 Infiniti’s to consider it a classic to care about resale or investment. It will go down in value like every modern car I value it a some decent luxury, some decent performance, and I like the style. Main critique about the car is that the interior has not changed much and looks dated but actually I like that look.
@@DaveDarin I didn't see anyone say anything about the infiniti being a classic or a resale investment, but yes they do look nice. 450HP with an exhaust and do some DIY on the intakes is no too shabby for a luxury sedan.
