There is a custom made part that did crack do I need to redo it, if not hen i would have been running it. Here is an old video of it ua-cam.com/video/VBLymbtACGk/v-deo.html
I think you’ve done a great job with the CF chassis on each of these cars Odd-Arne. I’ve been checking out many of your projects on your website and would love it if you did a video of your original Dyna Storm, as I know that it was a massive project for you. I did a similar chassis “upgrade” with my Bear Hawk in CF, it’s fun to bring new life into these vintage buggies! Well done mate.
Thanks mate 😊. Yeah I must agree it's very fun to bring new life into both vintage cars and other not that special cars. I will make a video of the Dyna Storm, but I need to finish the one that you are referring to, first 🤪. That project came to a halt when trying to get the upper to lower deck done, and as I started buying allot of rc cars just to restore and sell. I'm planing to ask my friend if I can bring the car over to him and he could design the deck when he got the time. I don't think I have seen your Black Hawk, is there any place I could see some pictures of it?
@@OddArneBjrklundRC I don’t have any “online” presence, but if I can get some photos to you, I will get in touch and let you know! I’m still looking forward to the second instalment of your Vajra restoration as well. Take care 😁
Have you considered designing/fabricating an entire buggy from the ground up? Seems like you’ve got the skills to give it a shot! Great cars brother!!!
Thanks Wade! Yes I have, but never made it a reality, maybe I should give it a shot in the near future. It's the gearboxes that holds me back, can't figure out if I should try to make em myself or if I should go for tamiya one's. Thanks again.
Same here - I thought about using the Kyosho super-10 diffs/shaft-driven setup might be an easy option vs a gearbox-based system. I tried to understand how bevel-gears are designed and I was simply blown away by how complicated they actually are 😂😂
@@wadeskelton7585 yeah I feel you 😂😂 gears are complicated, and if making a 4wd to get the correct ratio between front and rear, hmmm. Cool you should give it a go and try with the kyosho gears.. Maybe I should try this once my project lists to do is empty and not buy any other projects before I have given this a try.
Cool! I love the home made chassis, it's really special! I'll try not to give any teasers, so I'll just say I liked the blue one the best, I'm very keen on that simple paint scheme!
If you liked this story you should check out my other RC cars stories : ua-cam.com/play/PLTFKnRLEfLQZTTdRLLS8dbcPhsh2fqxcD.html
WOW! that is absolutely Awesome. The reveal of what you made. Stunning. Top Job.
Thanks 🤩. I'm very pleased with the end result, and that I didn't just leave it as a shelf queen.
That’s one of Tamiyas bust looking racing buggy’s . Yea great looking car. You should get some footage of it speeding around if you still drive it.
