Can a direct inflow velocity measurement be done without a flow hood

After warming up the fan, it says “Inflow Low”. And there is no airflow inside the cabinet. All values shows zero but I can’t set it up. What should I do?

Does the ESCO labculture reliant also only activate the UV lamp when the sash is down? And automatically turns the UV lamp off when the sash is opened?

Hi, Ashley! Yes. The UV lamp can only be activated when the sash is fully closed. It will automatically turns off if opened.

In LAF with fixed sash, how to use UV for sterilization? Fixed sash means we cant close the cabinet completely?

Hi @Arjun Rajeev. The laminar flow cabinet has glass front door that will fully close the unit in case of UV sterilization.

@@EscoLifesciencesGroup I have used the esco LAF with sliding sash in which the sash can be raised up and closed when not in use. So in fixed sash ones we can raise the sash only to a pre determined level? Or did you mean there is another door other than sash? Pls reply we have to finalise a horizontal LAF model
