I love fabric glue. It’s a dark secret I keep from my sewing teacher. 🙄 Agree it’s great for labels. Using the tiniest spot at the beginning/end of overlocked seam stops the layers slipping against each other. .

While watching your vlog am making Blanca flight suit and using glue pen for first time. It was great for fixing patch pockets in place before sewing down (including getting label straight on pocket!) and also for keeping belt loops in place whilst doing the bartacks. I am sure I will find lots of other uses for it before project is finished. Pins sometimes distort a zip so definitely will be trying it on that when I get to it..
The hack is amazing and inspiring! Off to plan my own 😊.

I have just made two Luna lappins for oour first grandchild that is due later this year. One that has taken a lot of heartache to get. I also have the studio Serena patterns but have not made them yet Yours is lovely. Layla willlove her. ❤
I adore your top, that material is so beautiful. And Layla’s jumper is so sweet. I don’t think anyone would notice the small bits you’re not happy with, particularly if you put a decorative patch or some embroidery over the bit near the bird. But once it’s been washed, maybe it will sort itself out?
The bunny is so cute. I’m sure Layla will love it!

The Bird sweater... Suggestion when your embroidering the details why but add a flower or smaller bird in the stitch error?
If you have an orange or yellow vest (or tee or whatever it's called over there) that would also look great under the blouse your wearing, or any other color that's on the fabric. 😁
I love what you did with the Anna Allen blouse! Could you possibly (in another video) demonstrate how you did those ties on the darling blouse? I have downloaded, and stuck together the PDF pattern, but would love to make it the way you did. Love your videos!

Lovely vlog Rachel. You don’t need to point out the faults. They really aren’t obvious. The jumper is adorable ,as is the bunny. I made a lot of soft toys in the past and very tempted by this one. I love your fabrics and the jerseys for Layla. I also ordered more fabric as there have been some Easter offers at Lady McElroy and Sewsewsew. I ordered a remnant of faces for my 8 year old granddaughter for her birthday in June. She doesn’t wear dresses,so I always make shorts sets. I hope it’ll be suitable as she’s vey fussy 😆

I love your gifts for Layla. Re. your knitting issue, I wonder if you are inadvertently slipping a stitch occasionally instead of knitting it.
Love your new top and the fabric is gorgeous. I use glue pens quite a lot they’re very useful particularly for hems on jersey makes (just using a dot at regular intervals), also for keeping my pressed open seams in place when doing necklines, arm holes etc. so annoying if you fold it over and sew without realising 🙄. It is also good for using on labels. Have to say though Rachel I am missing looking at your lovely collection of fabrics since you’ve moved into your your new vlogging area 😕☺️

Wow you have read my mind. I just watch the NSS vlog and asked if you could do a styling vlog. I like to wear a vest under things or skintone underwear. Love your top PF fabrics are great and so affordable it really suits you. xx

Love your makes and fabric. When you make Layla a dress why not make Bunny a dress in the same fabric, I think that would be very cute x
The jumper looks great! Is it possible you've twisted the stitches when you've ripped back and picked the stitches back up? It will leave a gap if you have 💜
My sister who is a knitter thinks your jumper is very good. She suggested that from the wrong side you could tighten up the loose stiches. No one will know!!

I don't think that can be right about that pattern, have you contacted the designer? Sounds ridiculous... I think you should not try to get it all done as you will not enjoy the process. Have a lovely birthday party with family.
